rogic struggling winning arial duels (which seems to be 90% of the game in the spl!)
had a couple of nice touches so far

Yeah, he's not great in the air. One or two of them he has peeled off the side to get the crumbs cause a team-mate has been steaming through though.
He's playing alright, certainly looking a lot more comfortable with his role - he seems to be getting on the ball more and pushing forward a little more compared to other matches he's played for the hoops. Starting to run with the ball also which is nice to see.

rogic does look like he needs an off season to improve his defence. His attacking touches are decent so far

rogic has been playing very deep in this game. Starting to get involveda lot more. First 15minutes it looked like his team mates had something against him not passing to him at all. Now he's had some confident touches and starting to touch the ball more regularly

Poor goal to give away.
Anyway, he's playing alright. Holger needs to pick Rogic for the Oman match, we need players like him for the qualifiers and beyond.

rogic decides to be physical and wins the ball
thats the way fouls dont exist in this league

half time. Rogic played well but not spectacular but I suspect you would see a substitution at half time. They seem to be playing 2 attacking mids which seems a little unbalanced. There is a slight chance rogic could get subbed but I hope not
if I was the coach I would sub commons and either kyle or rogic (even though the latter two have been the best they need a mid fielder who can play deep and work the ball forward and win posession)

granted i missed the first half hour of the match, but saw the last 15 minutes and rogic is not looking that great tbh. He seems lost when celtic need to defend, and seems to be well off the pace. When he's had the ball i've seen so many of his passes be to the guy standing about 2m away who's more tightly marked than rogic, he's played about 3 balls that weren't to the guy who looked the easiest and 2 were either over or underhit and got disposed without too much difficulty with his the one run that had some intent. Hate to be a miser and I know that I am being critical of the guy because I want him to succeed at the highest level, but in the bit of game time he had against dundee there were some of the same signs.
On the plus side, he was seeing a fair bit of ball, and despite what people say Celtic try and do play along the ground rather than long ball stuff. He's only young and still adjusting (thinking how much of a fat useless shit Carlos Hernandez looked like when he first started in the A-League), but after seeing him tonight I wouldn't mind if Holger left him out of the Oman game to let him get up to speed at Celtic. Hope the second half is better for him

Has anyone seen the first half of the Middlesbrough game? Seems Williams is playing defensive mid but that may just because of bikeys injury

Can see why he was subbed off, but he was one of their better players. Celtic have been quite poor.
Problem is, he's playing out of position as a really deep playmaker and required to do a lot of defensive work, yet he's barely got a defensive bone in his body. Celtic do have plenty of attacking options, and he'll have to bide his time to get a crack up there.
Time to watch the Middlesbrough match :)
