perhaps around 6 guys will nail a starting spot in a good league this year (rogic, davidson, mcgowan, irvine, bouzanic and ryan) last year we had 6 as well. Perhaps this is the new normal
at this rate that will give us a talent pool of 18 by the asian cup plus what was already there before that

Utrecht leading AZ 2:0
Oar involved in the build up for the first goal by playing in Bulthuis who got the assist. Got the assist for the second goal through a beautiful run and lays off to De Ridder.

Beautiful little run from Oar for the assist on the second.
Goals at 3:10 & 5:30. Oar involved in both.

Beautiful final ball for both, and great that he turned it over and brought it into the attacking half himself, should hopefully prove how indispensable he is in the coach's eyes.

At the risk of repeating myself, given the other thread on this Oz wrap, this seems to be the National team selection based on last weekend's performances:
Ryan Wilkshire Lowry Williams Davidson Leckie Jedinak Holland Oar Rogic Kruse Subs: Neill, Herd, Paartalu, Kennedy, McDonald (Langerak/Jones/Federici)

The choice was between him and Ollie Bozanic who is going through a purple patch at the moment but gave the nod to Portaloo because Bozanic has no previous NT form. Must admit however if Bozanic keeps up this run of form he will be hard to ignore.

Nothing to do with grammar. But predictably you failed to comprehend what he was saying...

What is with ESPN showing the Basel game over the Austria one? 6:45 start would have been great for me and you would think Australia's Croatian footballing community is bigger than our Swiss or Bulgarian ones?
If they do get turned over I will be pissed as I want to watch how Holland plays for him club side, also if they do go through who was the last player to get close to a full 540 minutes in the CL group stages? Holamn in 09/10?

Anyone know what the odds of Davidson being a regular in Herecles starting XI for the rest of the season are? A couple of times he has pulled 3 or 4 full games together and then been out of the squad alltogether
