that was amazingly bad defense from the back four. munster scores
so far amini has had rouhgly 40 touches (while i have been watching) he has given the ball away 3 times by my count and beaten a player about 7 or so times at least 2 3rds of his passes have been forward and some have been difficult he has made 1 good tackle and two poor challenges and no intercepts he has had 1 poor shot
i think he is off

At least Amini is getting minutes. Another 90 on the bench from Rogic. I know he has injury worries but he was fit enough to be on the bench. I am not on the Rogic needs to leave Celtic boat but I think it is good that even though Amini has no real chance of playing in the first team he is still getting minutes unlike what would happen at most teams in Europe.

Streams gone to shit for me. I thought Amini had a decent first half, but their 'keeper getting sent off pretty much killed the game. Needs to be smarter defensively (couple of good tackles in the 1st half however).
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

He also beat players a lot 1v1 he just needs to get a lot better defensively and I think he is roughly eredivisie level. After all the central midfield positions at BVB II are at least that level. It wouldn't be that bad an idea to call him up for the nt along with luongo to give them a bit of mentoring Edited by grazorblade: 20/10/2013 12:42:34 AM

Williams on the bench for Middlesbrough. Lowry on the bench for Milwall. Federici is in goals for Reading. McCarthy not on the bench, Taylor is instead, so perhaps injured. Anyone know?

The only positive is that McCarthy might end up in the EPL again quite quickly. January even if a side is looking for a goalkeeper. Fulham?

Looks like a Middlesbrough need Williams, down 3-0 now with one goal being a penalty given away by center back Ben Gibson.

There is a bit of spread of ages, Federici 28, Langerak 25, Ryan 21 but goalkeeping is certainly a position which is a strength.

Missed that Scott McDonald started for Milwall and he has now scored. I wonder whether the new national coach might give him another chance.

He may not find anyone good enough but its worth a look Wesolowski is a slightly sad story, but he's still in there and playing fairly regularly it seems, so not that sad perhaps and he's still young enough to come back! Younger days debuted with Leceister City at 18/19 in the Championship - coach and fans were raving about him, but then he suffered injury from a bad tackle and then injury spell after injury spell for the next few years. It's only his recent club, Oldham, where it seems, hopefully, he's finally settled into a regular run of senior football, albeit in a lower division. He's the gem in the rough, a good, hard working, DM/CM who gets around, has a good tackle and is a generally good footballer, apparently. I don't know much more tbh, but again, he debuted early, purely due to his talent and was still high in the team's pecking order/rotation, despite injury spells, but the absences and lack of football took their toll. Not unlike Rhys Williams in that regard, just Williams saw through that and is still with his club, where Wesolowski had to see loan moves and eventually departed. Even just looking at his Wiki, his record of career appearances, season on season, alone gives an indication of where he once was. He was even called up to the Socceroos - I forgot about that! But no wonder I did - he had to pull out due to, you guessed it, injury! :/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_WesolowskiBut again, he's playing regularly and coming back. Hopefully he can rise up in league level/standard again before he hits his peak years, which are only a season or two away. Edited by gloryperth: 20/10/2013 06:56:28 AM

Colin wrote:Was our great leader an unused sub for Omiya? He had a good game, he made no defensive errors and Omiya only lost 1-0. He is showing his best form for the season, it is great to see the coach has kept faith in him and kept him in the team even if it was only on the bench. Hope Ange shows the same amount of faith in him.

Should Neil Kilkenny come home as well? He seems to have fallen right out of favor at Bristol.
