Great to see Amini get more game time again. Its interesting Rogic cant break through at Celtic while Amini isn't playing in the first team but should we give him a look in for the November friendlies to see how he goes?

Irvine's goal seems to be from a set piece on the edge of the boxed rolled across which he hit from outside the box.

I just pulled this off and article about Kris Commons injury. Really sums up the attitude towards football in Scotland Quote:http://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/latest/neil-lennon-vents-ire-after-injury-to-kris-commons-1-3148908 “Look, I’ll get criticised because people will say it’s a man’s game, and it is, no question. But the tackles were late, high, reckless. You lot are asking the questions so you must see it as well. My opinion may be different from Pat’s. He’ll say he sent his team out to get in our faces and I don’t mind that at all, but the ref should take more of a grip on it sometimes.”
Fenlon said he was delighted with his team’s physicality. When asked for a response to Lennon’s accuations, he said he was happy that his team have finally got the message that they have to be in the faces of teams in order to get a result. “Neil is entitled to his opinion,” he said.

Amini mentioned as BvB II's best player last night http://www.3-liga.com/news-3liga-muenster-setzt-den-aufwaertstrend-gegen-dortmunds-zweitbesetzung-fort---spielbericht-8290.htmlQuote:Dortmund now settled once fall back and join the hosts. Which examined the gap, but did visibly staggered back against the good team score heavily. Dortmund was uncertain, not brought forward a lot.
Best man was Mustafa Amini, who, however, found no real play stations on the offensive. However, Munster domierte the game almost at will. 's 27 Minute the home side had another chance. First, the Eagles advanced to support the ball before it went very quickly at once.

Gosh if rogic does get a run perhaps then he can play for the wallabies And this is why Holger and some others questioned his move to Celtic/SPL. The doubts/concerns continue, the longer he's there. Hopefully he sees a regular run now and does enough to impress scouts south of the border and preferably across the channel. Even to see Oliver Bozanic and Dario Vidosic impressing in the Swiss league, EVEN THERE, he could be tearing it up, week in, week out! Let alone Tommy Oar reaping rewards at Utrecht. Those are the sorts of leagues known for the development of 'jong'/young players, NOT Scotland! ](*,) I know there are arguments counter - Celtic are in the CL/European football etc... but pointless when his style of game isn't valued by the coaching staff, above others of different qualities perhaps? Mind you, Kris Commons and others are good players too, so he chose one of the teams/suitors with arguably the 'strongest squad'/midfield' of the bunch, bar QPR (Which would've been arguably worse?). He could've been tearing it up at Matt Ryan's club, Club Brugge instead, for instance? Ah well, it's all hindsight - hopefully his 'next move' is a better one? This recent article with Holger about it, circa recent friendlies, reminds why we need Rogic breaking through. People were constantly critical of Holger, but he was NOT WRONG on this one: http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/sport/socceroos-coach-holger-osieck-explains-why-tom-rogic-only-playing-cameo-roles/story-fnii0fc4-1226726398483BTW To see how his Celtic team-mate, fellow Aussie, Irvine, thrives in the same league, albeit via loan, is another ironic reflection. He's too good to be loaned out to another SPL club like that, but he's also, so far, not been considered good enough to crack the senior Celtic team proper, thus far.

On Kilkenny, I genuinely think he would rip the A-league apart if he could stay fit. His ability to play killer passes are all angles is uncanny.

Wait, Davidson is starting. Site got it wrong. Edited by playmaker11: 20/10/2013 08:53:57 PM
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Ryan, Wilkshire, Herd, Bozanic and Halloran have their clubs playing. Whether they will play I do not know.

Davidson was the player who put a ball into the box that lead to the Heracles equalizer. It was a good ball to the back post in contrast to the inept attacking play that Heracles were producing despite having an extra man. I only saw the last 20 minutes but Davidson got a fair bit of the ball. He did not do a great deal with it apart from the ball into the box that lead to the goal.

Davidson with a great game second best on the pitch according to whoscored.com s stats. Amazing the confidence you get when u get some encouragement from a nt coach! I reckon holgers lack of faith in him set him back a year in his development

He certainly did make no defensive errors, as he was on the bench all 90 minutes.

In football at the moment, the only thing that annoys me as much as the potential defection of some quality Australian-born youth players, is Tom Rogic's move to Celtic.
I'm willing to bet he'd be a starring player of the league in the Eredivisie, even with a lower Bundesliga team, right now. He'd go into Brazil with lots of runs on the board, probably have a great tournament and maybe even come out of it with a contract at a big 4 side in England, Germany, Italy or Spain.
But instead at Celtic, he has got nothing whatsoever to show for it and it has stunted his career pretty badly. The FFA need to liaise better with our young players. The enticement of playing Champion's League means jack shit if you're playing for a team playing league football in a hatchet league and whose modus operandi is long balls and taking every opposition player on individually.
To be fair, it might be a bit of a different story for Jackson Irvine. He has basically built his career around Celtic and it's working out for him so far. I'm sure he'd benefit from a stint on the continent, but since he has started off at Celtic and is already doing well there, I won't criticise that. But Rogic is a different type of player at a critical period in his career, and so far has chosen badly.
Here's hoping he's still a starter in the World Cup, has a fantastic tournament and that he gets a better club after it.

Tomislav Mrcela (CB) played a full game in croatia and set up a goal with a clearance. They lost 1-2 but they are shit (2nd bottom) and it was against top of the table Hajduk Split. http://www.dalmacijanews.com/Hajduk/View/tabid/88/ID/130730/Hajduk-golom-u-92-minuti-do-prvog-mjesta-na-ljestvici-FOTO.aspxQuote:39th - GOAL!
