Also here is Mrcela's assist in the croation league from yesturday. Very basic but I though I may as well post it.

and here are the goals they conceded, he is #5. I would say he could have done better with the first, less with the second as he was marking no.9 who is theoretically the oppositions most dangerous player.

Yep, Wright with the rising header off a corner in putting Preston 2-1 up (in a match that ended 2-2 v James Meredith's Bradford)

Good wrap. Travis looks like he's having a decent time in the Netherlands. Fingers crossed he can get back on the bench and put in a few good shifts at training.

Would any A-League teams have room both cap wise and team wise to fit in Kilkenny? Being wasted in League 1 such a great passer of the ball, would love him at Heart

kruse on the bench

reading the comments about rogic on celtic forums is depressing. He really needs to go to another club in the transfer window. I know he is injured and all

kruse's rival son is currently the lowest rated starting player according to whoscored.com . An early substitute is in play. Then again whoscored.com seems to heavily punish being dispossessed or making key errors.

Babalj moved to Jong AZ. He is seen as the most surprising and it is most likely down to his surgery but still not good news

http://www.az.nl/nieuws/zevental-spelers-overgeheveld-naar-jong-az/1?catid=79

Quote:
ALKMAAR-AZ Eli Babalj, Raymond Gyasi, Thom Haye, Jonas Heymans, Wesley Beware, Thomas Lamb and Joris van Overeem provisionally transferred to Young AZ. This considers the club better for the development of the players. When Young AZ may individualistic attention.

I'd love to see Ange finally trial Chris Herd at RB. Though at the moment Herd's lack of first team opportunities may no longer see him 'warrant' the chance, unlike last season?

On that - IF Lambert don't given him some opportunity soon (If he's fit?) then hopefully he can loan out in January. But surely he's high enough in the pecking order, that won't be necessary?

well he has made the squad the last two games (although 442 reported he didnt?? BBC commentary and whoscored.com said he did?? I was following the commentary to see if he would get subbed on but he didn't)

so he is back from injury so i hope it is only a matter of time. I rate him a better defender than jedinak and as good in the air as cahill. He is also a good shooter and crosser but may clash with ange's style with a 78% pass rate

Thanks Grazor - I checked the OSAussies back links and it said similar, but I get confused too.

Oh yeah! In the air he's been rated as 'Cahill-like' no doubt. They utilised him at CB at times to, despite his moderate height, due to this aerial ability!

Holger criticised his passing percentage back when he was asked about Herd, circa McLeish era iirc, and he wasn't too far wrong.

Unfortunately, Holland, Jedinak, Herd even going back to Valeri... so many of the DM options are soo ordinary on the ball. This is why Milligan supplanted Jedinak and still remains Bresc's DM screening partner of choice - as we can all well see. Milligan, a former/recent CB has all the qualities going back, but is also competent going forward. Brings better balance. But he alone is no saviour and he still need tactical adjustments IF we end up facing the likes of Brazil, France, Germany or the like again in the coming World Cup.

Despite what Ange said at his presser, there will be 'some' damage limitation, but it's more specific to the particular fixture at the WC, ala Hiddink when we faced Brazil in 06. Pim took the wrong approach against Germany and we paid for it, so this time it will be crucial to see how Ange problem solves this area.

And just in wider terms, keeping goals out is still a long term problem for this team and that's not just the back four's fault, that's a responsibility of the whole XI front to back, ofcourse.
