moofa wrote:Really bored atm so here is a challenge. Who is the OS Aussie in this image? I have probably made it too obscure but oh well. Hint: it is the guy on the left and I doubt he has been mentioned in this thread That bloke who's been playing in South East Asia for years and bangs away goals for fun?

By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Giannou got a 5th minute goal and his team is 2-0 up against the team in 3rd. They are in third. Ugarkovic is possibly the best guess you can get without getting it. You will not get it without this. http://www.ozfootball.net/ark/Abroad/index.html The reason I ran across him was I was checking if any of our players not in top flights were playing and looking at promotion.

Ryan only had to make one simple save (as far as I recall). Dealt with crosses well and distribution was top-notch. Solid point away from home.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

obviously it was Frane ;)
Here are the highlights from Giannou's game. Funny goal for him and it was his direct opponent who have away the pen. Good result but only two teams in the top half didn't win this weekend so it doesn't really change their position

Voice ofReason have you looked into how Anthony Carter is going in Romania. He seems to be not in the first team at the moment but at 19 we shouldn't expect him to be really. I always see him at Cluj and think he could be playing in the Europa league (even though Cluj is 6 points off atm) but it is really hard to find out if they see him close to the first team or not.
EDIT: On their official site I found he played one half in a pre-season 14-0 win and scored then also was in two squads and got on in both during September but nothing else.

Both of Irvines yellow cards were quite harsh, first didn't look a dive at all

Edited by moofa: 11/11/2013 12:30:33 PM The reason he moved was because GISS, the academy which helped go to Europe in the first place, has set up a partnership with Cluj in that GISS runs there youth side, under 23s I think it is. They have lots of Aussie boys there at the moment including Josip Konyit if I'm not mistaken. I'm pretty sure Carter would be featuring for them quite a bit
