Kennedy and Jovanovic played 90 minutes
DeVere and Nichols stayed on the bench

ESPN Australia visited Mathew Ryan

Mathew Ryan is hot in Australia where his performances at Club are closely monitored. The popular Australian journalist Jason Bennett and a camera crew have followed the goalkeeper five days for the show 'Aussies Abroad'.

This show puts Australian professional athletes, who are performing well in Europe, in the spotlight. In a recent history cyclist Cadel Evans, surfer Steph Gilmore, golfer Robert Allenby, basketball player Andrew Bogut and triathlete Chris McCormack have already featured in the show.

Jason Bennett is now travelling through Europe to pay a visit to the Australian footballers who are part of the Australian national team. After having been at FC Utrecht and Almelo the past weeks, Bennett arrived at Brugge last weekend.

"We have shot some footage of the top game between Anderlecht and Club Brugge of last Sunday," Bennett explains. "On Monday we have visited the beautiful city of Brugge together with Mathew and on Tuesday evening we had dinner with him and a couple of his friends to celebrate his 22nd birthday. Wednesday morning we were lucky to have been given the chance, thanks to the good cooperation with Club's Communication departement and head coach Michel Preud'homme, to film half an hour of Mathew Ryan's goalkeeping training. Nevertheless it was actually a closed training practice. The last day at Jan Breydel was completed with a talk with our national goalkeeper at the stylish Club House."

On Thursday the documentary team travels to Frankfurt and Switzerland is next in line. The show about the Australian internationals in Europe will be broadcasted a week before the start of the 2014 World Championship in Brazil.

Bit of a keeper howler but still worthy enough of a goal. HT 1-0.

I'd be looking at Vidosic as more of a central option who can also fill in out wide occasionally. Halloran or Leckie are the best candidates to replace Kruse IMO.

Bozanic isn't good enough, not even close. I'd rather McKay if it came to that.

Giannou played a full game in a 0-0 draw. Started at LW but may have moved more centrally. Helped create two chances at the start of the game but not really involved in the other highlights. First he made a smart leave for his teammate to get down the line who crossed and made a good chance. Second was a very nice lobbed through ball just behind the defense but the striker wasn't able to make a decent shot.

highlights here

Agreed, I watched a bit of the second half and he was playing quite well. Did a beautiful little pass that set up their fullback who fluffed it. I think he is worthy of a callup though.

2 goals and 4 assists in a quality league for Davo. Should be one of the first names on the Roos team sheet. Ryan, Davidson, Jedinak, Oar, Leckie and one of Cahill/ Kenndedy should be certainties
