Interesting with Cansdell-Sherriff who is another 99 WC finalist. Surely his story has been discussed here but it's a shame he has never gotten a full cap considering the number of hacks who have. I think Pim had a look at him a few times. Herd didn't get on. Lowry played 90 mis for orient.

Is it also worth mentioning that Davidson's penalty was against a Kiwi keeper, Max Crocome?
Crocombe is 3rd choice at the moment as well. 1st is injured and the loan keeper isnt playing cup games.

Another option would be for him to go on loan to a Bundesliga 2 club for this season as opposed to sitting on the pine in Bundesliga 3 just so he can sit on the pine in the Bundesliga. My thoughts exactly!

Adjin Hrustic (18) has joined FC Groningen (Netherlands) on trial from Schalke. Don't know whether they are looking at a loan or permanent move but the article talks of him looking at both the first and youth side which makes me think it is permanent. Also mentions he had offers from PSV and Ajax but thought his best chances were at Groningen. He is most likely to play for Bosnia though Quote: Ajdin Hrustic (18), attacking midfielder Schalke 04 U19, on trial at FC Groningen
The next week, the 18-year-old Ajdin Hrustic at FC Groningen on trial. The player of the Under-19 team of Schalke 04 will partly Jong FC Groningen FC Groningen and partly A1 anyhow; with his host parents, the Middelbos family, he will not go hungry next week. Ajdin was born on July 5, 1996 and contains both Australian nationality as that of Bosnia-Herzegovina. He's since mid-2013 when Schalke 04 under contract; its commitment to the König Blaue n runs until June 30, 2016. The 1.78m long attacking midfielder, preferably behind the strikers, but also has experience at the position of left winger. He currently plays for FC Schalke 04 U19, which plays in the competition for A-juniors. He played in the youth of South Melbourne FC and Sandringham; Since 2013 he has Auf Schalke to admire. He comes from the Bosnian Tinje, located near the town of Tuzla, but grew up in Australia. Nevertheless, he feels Bosnian, writes BH Supersport , that his game overview and dribbling skills praises. As for him not all one week internship. He had also been able to Ajax and PSV, but it was his deliberate choice to go. FC Groningen He sees FC Groningen as a very nice club with a fine youth. The fact that Luis Suarez, Dusan Tadic, Tim Matavz and Filip Kostic could be big here has certainly contributed to go. Internship at FC Groningen Moreover, such things in fcgonline.nl enthusiastic written about Jong FC Groningen and the youth teams. This means that he knows not only the first team is considered. As being important In the words of his agent, speaking Djoko Maletic,: youth get at FC Groningen really have the ability to develop into full-fledged first team players. Ajdin hopes the internship then successfully to close. Ajdin, good luck! http://fcgonline.nl/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=3338:ajdin-hrustic&catid=36:jong-fc-groningen&Itemid=58

SCS deserving a cap? Yeah I guess we're really light on centre backs and need fourth division journeymen to plug the gaps.

Why are people worried about Kruse? It hasn't even been nine months since he ruptured his ACL and it may not be another year before he's in contention for the Bayer first team again. People just need to be a bit more patient FFS!

He is most likely to play for Bosnia though. He'd be eligible for the AFC U19's in October, if he's interested. Hope Bosnia keep their mitts off him.

Loan move may not be as wise as simply seeing out the recovery at his club in full and working hard to get back into the first team. A loan move may see him fall out of favour altogether.

The difference is he has been training fully since before the world cup... he has had a full preseason, played a couple of games in pre-season and hasn't featured since, they also have a new manager this season - who did not sign Kruse and we want him at 100% by January which he can't do if he doesn't play. Falcao recovered from the same injury in 6 months and already has a few goals this season...thats the difference. He didn't even get a run in the german cup game where they played a 4th division team. Some of us believe we can win the AC if we have Robbie firing.

Actually, if we're going to scarp the barrel of the English lower leagues then I'd look at James Meredith. Left back, which is a position without a lot of depth, and is entrenched in the Bradford side after getting them promoted to L1 last season.
I'd like to see the likes of Behich in the team before him, but there should at least be a dossier on him.

I've only watch a handful of QSL matches. The players all seemed to have solid technique and played at a pretty quick pace. Never really saw any 'midfield battles', end to end stuff, lots of space.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Bad news for Brillante as Fiorentina are close to signing shakthar's Brazilian DM Fernando and Montpellier CM/Utility Stambouli.
It would now take an absolute miricale for the kid to crack the first team.

Rubbish news Well Brillante has left a good impression on the coaching staff and fans who have been very suprised by his performances in pre-season, however it's tough when you play for a team challenging for the Scudetto. La Viola's midfield is heavily stacked now if these transfers eventuate, which is a shame because this was an area I thought Josh would be given opportunity in. Oh well...hopefully a loan to Serie B.

Anyone was dreaming if they thought brilliante was going to be a regular or hardly play in the team this season anyway.

I'm sure he knows what his doing. It's not as easy as just going on loan to a B2 club - I doubt any B2 clubs would be able to cough up his wages anyway. If he isn't playing by January then yeah he should be looking elsewhere but this sort of injury isn't something that you can just put out of your head. BTW it doesn't help that Laverkusen are on fire ATM.
