This says more about you then anything else.

I had followed Lararidis career in England with West Ham & Birmingham & even manage to watch him play on my visits to England, where many in the media were comparing him to Steve Macmanam. He had a great career.
However by 2006 injuries had taken it's toll, hence why he did not get a run under Hiddink & played on 13 games in the A-League in the following 2 seasons & like I said most of those games were fairly forgetful.

Well, it says nothing about me. It's just a statement. Not sure why you took it to heart so much.

In his West Ham days Lazaridis was a gun player, much better attacking than Chipperfield but defensively vulnerable. From memory i think they tried to turn him into a winger, and then he suffered a few hamstring knee issues and he lost a lot of pace, but in his heyday he was thrilling to watch.

I never took it to heart. I was commenting about you.

Only someone who thinks they are better then someone else would comment that a fellow football fan as a 'new dawn fool'.
Whether someone, who has played, watched or coached football for as long as they can remember (which I have) or someone who at 40 years marveled at Timmy's goal at WC & became a fan, we are all the same football fans.
We should be inclusive not exclusive.

Troisi stayed on the bench

By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Don't forget that Chipperfield played in midfield a lot, both centrally and out wide.

Laza at LB was awesome. To think that we had someone as good as Ceccoli who never really got a look in... Would kill for that depth now.

Impress who?

All that will happen will he gets dragged away from the club for a game and goes further down the pecking order, meaning he will be underdone for the Asian Cup. Not to mention his career at the top level at a top club is in the balance.

So I guess all of Leverkusen's international players are going to fall down the pecking order when they're playing for their international teams on an international break...

International minutes and a good performance > a couple of training sessions with half of the squad.

What Internationals or players they have, have proved themselves and are not playing for a 4th rate side like Australia. But anyway.

You still haven't shown why he'll "fall down the pecking order" when half of the squad is away on international duty.

No, actually back up why you think a player will lose standing when going away on a FIFA date. Is Son going to lose his place too, going away to play for a "4th rate side"?

Is Kruse going to miraculously do something in a couple of training sessions that he hasn't done before?

It's a ridiculous notion and you know it.
