Anyone watch Luongos Swindon play? Was having a look at some of the stats and it looks like they play 3 at the back with him being a DM in front of this three ? Just curious it makes some of his scoring stats a bit more impressive

S McDonald played the full 90 and copped a yellow in his sides 0-2 loss. Millwall not playing well.

Good find, His name is Mili Popovic from what I could get. He is a 17 year old striker and was signed last August (2013), came off the bench once this season, most likely in a friendly. Hopefully Davo being away (probably second choice) for a month won't cost him to heavily with the new guy.

Besides a couple of goals at the World Cup, thank fuck we no longer have to endure Holmans useless rubbish. Yeah, he was a master at creating turnovers, pity most of them were ours....

I think he is refering to the fact that he was a major part of the team that qualified us (even though they only jsut qualified), but go overlooked as soon as Ange came on board. I am still not sure why he retired from the nat team. Ange must have told him he was never going to be a chance? which is a shock because he is still a good player in his own right and not over the hill .. (Bresc is in the oil leagues and still gets a run)

Holman had shitty attitude, thats why he wasn't picked. Im pretty sure it was even publicly stated that he went picked because of his poor attitude. He probably assumed game time was his divine right or something.

Betrayed was probably not quite what I meant, but you can see how he'd feel a little hard done by.

(Bresc is in the oil leagues and still gets a run) Ange probably told a lot of those socceroos that they would no longer be automatic selections and then a few took the opportunity to retire off their own bat. I think this was the case with guys like Holman, Schwarzer, Kewell. He probably also said the same thing to Neill who obviously decided to keep trying.

NUFC played a closed doors friendly last night to get some minutes into players coming back from injury (Jonas, Santon, etc) and word is Good played the full 90.
Also sounds like Pardew is looking at defensive midfielders to bring in to Palace so not sure how highly he rates Jedi. Has a history of mancrushing on mediocre British players.
