Can't understand why WBA blocked it if they aren't going to give him a run anyway. He is nowhere near EPL standard yet. Still a few years away

He came on for Simone Verdi in a more advanced attacking position than he is used to, however considering it was only in the last 5mins of the game, it is not really a true reflection of where Empoli see he is best suited, in my opinion. http://www.football-lineups.com/lineup/426746/Edited by socceroo_06: 9/2/2015 10:40:45 AMEdited by socceroo_06: 9/2/2015 10:41:03 AM

My opinion and I read somewhere in these quotes , he has become better since joining WB because now he is being schooled there or some such. Hasn't changed since joining them, still slow on the ball and lacks any real pace getting forward. Let's hope he becomes a tougher, hard nutted LB, because as far as his ability on the ball, if I was a top flight coach I would be worried every time he gets it. Does not look comfortable and most LB's these days are preferred to overlap and get forward. Edited by highkick05: 9/2/2015 04:07:09 PM

Any idea on Rogic's injury? When will he be returning? Really need's to begin to get some solid game time under his belt.

Really need's to begin to get some solid game time under his belt. latest news had him getting a run in january this year. he is training with the team. deila is under a bit of pressure to win after a slow start, so that might be delaying it. bbc and skynews were reporting that deila had a full team to choose from -with no injuries- for the weekends cup match. keep checking the squad lists because rogic will pop into one any time now. finally.

Edited by highkick05: 9/2/2015 04:07:09 PM somebody here hates davo. you can doubt his current ability all you want -and that's fair enough- but to say he hasnt improved at all, let alone dramatically, since his shift to the EPL is a bit blind. i was happy with behich as well. i think he is more reliable. even though i would still have played behich, davo surprised me. he wasnt leaking like a sieve. and he was keeping in check with the CB's.

Great news about Good. Lots of U21 action for EPL Aussies overnight, Dacidson, Gethin Jones and Giancarlo Gallifuoco all had full games, Ryan Edwards started and came off after 65 minutes.
Three Aussies in one Eerste Divisie game too, Dougall and Quinn playing full games vs Marveggio who came on in the 72nd minute.
