Rogic on the bench v Real Sociedad McGowan starting v Vitesse
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Jedinak is fucked. Wasn't playing as is under Pardew and now he's bought in a replacement who can actually make a 5 yard pass.

I don't mind him but every time he plays for the Socceroos he looks like he can score (free kick) but it feels like he is going to make a mistakes that cost us at least one and maybe two goals.

Cabaye is a free kick specialist. Midfielders starting ahead of him at end of the season given big raises/extensions as well. Hes in trouble. Should try and force a move to play under Pulis again or to Bournemouth.

Good played the second half and kept a clean sheet. against Gateshead so nothing to write home about but a decent showing of fitness for potential loanee clubs

Wilko is playing in the same league but not performing to the same level and is a regular in the Socceroos. Jovanovic is also a lot younger at 25. Edited by Krusen: 10/7/2015 12:00:18 PM I think that's a bit of an overread - Wilkinson won the league and was in the team of the season just last year. Jovanovic does look well worth a shot in the national side but there's only really been one chance to call him up since the season really began. and? Wilkinson didn't play for Australia on till last year (2014) the year he was name in K-league best XI

So the Romanian Liga 1 started last night with Anthony Carter's CFR Cluj playing tonight. Hopefully he gets a run but not sure about their options up forward.

Maclaren is on record saying that he wants to try something different at CB from the usual Coloccini/Williamson partnership we've had the last few years, so assuming he gets through preseason ok he is every chance to be playing EPL stuff.

I know it is not guaranteed but I have heard they are wondering how to get him back to full match fitness after 16 months of injury and Ipswich might be interested

Ryan was linked to Frankfurt yesterday until their president denied it. Seeing his name pop up in German media is exciting though.

Some more preseason action tonight for our English based lads. I'll have a look for streams later on. I've only had a look for senior listed players. Unsure if any youth/U21 players are playing or training with the senior squads.
Huddersfield Town vs Guiseley (Davidson) QPR vs Verona Stars (Luongo) Preston North End vs Chorley (Wright, Kilkenny) Crystal Palace v Barnet (Jedinak) Aston Villa v Fulham (not sure if Herd or Taggart travelled with their sides, playing over in Portugal as part of a tour)
All playing lower league clubs except QPR, so you'd expect all our boys if fit to feature.
All games kick off at midnight except QPR, they play at 2

Full match for Wilkinson. 3-0 win. Burns on in the 61st minute. 2-0 loss. Full match for Duke. 5-0 loss. I tried to find something on Rhys Williams but it seems like he's nowhere near returning. Edited by playmaker11: 11/7/2015 10:03:14 PM

Seen a bit of Burns. Looked really lively off the bench, didn't have a lot of support though. The ref was really favouring them home side too. Burns clearly fouled a couple of times but no free kicks.

Davidson starting on the bench for Huddersfield (experimental formation and team) Wright and Kilkenny both start for Preston, Wright with the armband! Jedinak not even in the squad for Palace
