not really evidence by SPL team Europe League, Champ League

St. Johnstone (1-1) , (2-2) Alashkert, Armenia
Aberdeen (1-1), (0-0) Shkëndija, Macedonia
Aberdeen (3-0), (2-2) Rijeka , Croatia
Inverness CT (0-1), (0-0) Astra Giurgiu, Romania
Aberdeen (1-2), (1-1) Kairat, Kazakhstan
Celtic (2-0), (4-1) Stjarnan, Iceland
Celtic (1-0) (0-0) Qarabağ, Azerbaijan
Celtic (3-2) (0-2) Malmö FF, Sweden

that a very typical SPL teams performance in Europe each year..only Celtic in Europa League

Yeah i agree based on euro competition but was more referring to national team plus celtic didnt do themselves any favours this year.

just feel like Scotland is better

Scotland Elo end of year
now (1674)
2014 (1697)
2013 (1671)
2012 (1628)
2011 (1674)

2009 (1642)
2008 (1691)

They embarrassed Australia not that long ago.

The was 4 years ago.... Jordan Rhodes made his debut... Now he's now one of the best strikers outside the premier league.

You absolute wanker

Before you had a tantrum and disappeared you were going on about how Celtic were going to demolish Malmö of all teams, even despite me proving that you were talking utter shit.

What a surprise that as soon as you come back you change your tune and pretend that you never said anything beforehand. You literally don't know shit. Go nominate someone in the awards thread because you're going to take the lot.

the big worry is for players like Holland, who was playing at a better team in Austria Wien last years, who then sign for a team that was (is) likely to be relegated

for Degenek, who was playing no minutes in Germany 3rd league last year, and who only 21 years old , it not so bad

Good summary Reedy. I thought Chery was quiet though, didn't do enough. If Mass didn't travel so much and play a lot of football in the past week, I'm sure Chery would have been sacrificed when Green got sent off. Goes to show really how fit Mass is, playing the 3 games in 8 days with all that travel!

Just realised that Panos Armenakas wears #10 for Udinese Primavera. Not bad for a foreign 17 year old in an under 21 comp! Hope he is a regular this season at that level.

Apparently he's a genuine prodigy. There were news articles being written about his footballing ability when he was five.

He is to me as Ikon is to you. Had a good feeling about him ever since I read an article in which Les Murray described him as the best junior player he's ever seen in Australia.

For the first time, but certainly not the last, I began to believe that Arsenals moods and fortunes somehow reflected my own. - Hornby

Keen to see how they develop.

How well do you rate George Mells? A dude who posts here from time to time who seems to know him said he's been getting a slew of offers from European clubs in England, Belgium and the Netherlands and only came back to Australia because his mum's ill and also believes that he's already better than several players at AU right now. Do you agree with him?

Just realised that Panos Armenakas wears #10 for Udinese Primavera. Not bad for a foreign 17 year old in an under 21 comp! Hope he is a regular this season at that level.

Apparently he's a genuine prodigy. There were news articles being written about his footballing ability when he was five.

He is to me as Ikon is to you. Had a good feeling about him ever since I read an article in which Les Murray described him as the best junior player he's ever seen in Australia.

Both are good lads, focussed, loads of talent, have supportive and loving families, and have everything going for them to make it.

Just looked on Soccerway and it says that Panos Primavera team is Under 19's. Looks like the team is born in either 97/98.

So (genuine question), what is the likelihood that he will want to play for Australia? Have we heard anything? Would hate for another Christian Vieri.
