Brad Smith getting a bit of sympathy on Twitter. The odd one or two posts are saying his shite but they are few and far between. They seem like heavy gamblers too.

Troisi is the most underrated player we have imo. He might not be the flashiest but you give him the game time and he always puts runs on the board. Would be awesome to see him look past the $ and just test himself at the highest possible level. Will be 29 and in his prime for Russia. I love Leckie but seriously if Troisi had the same opportunities he has had in the Bundesliga their is just no way he would only have 2 goals and zero assists for the season. He wouldn't have leckies defensive stats either of course but a LW or RW's job should be more about attack especially in a 4-3-3 set up.

A shame Smith had a shocker, given the limited opportunities he has got its the last thing he needs if he wants to become part of the squad.

schimch wrote:Gonna go against the grain here and say that Smith didn't play thaaat bad. Liverpool as a unit simply did not show up, with the central midfielders shouldering most of the blame for the insipid first half imo. Smith did alright when on the ball, got forward well as usual and wasn't at fault for any of the goals.
The red card was a little unfortunate too, he just got beaten to the punch with a bouncing ball, there was certainly no intent, just a little clumsy.
The fickleness of people on this forum amazes me, on page 1115 Smith is a world beater and our greatest prospect, and suddenly on 1116 Smith has blown his chance and is going nowhere.
In saying all of this though, a move to a lower table/promoted EPL club next season would be phenomenal Still not too sure where you got the "blown his chance and is going nowhere" nonsense from... was simply suggesting he had a bad night and unfortunately may have blown his chance in further impressing Klopp. Obviously I realise Klopp sees something in him,. but I'm not too sure whether Klopp sees enough in him and may feel the need to move him on. There are strong links with Klopp looking at Jonas Hector who ironically played against the Socceroos last year, Smith could potentially be 3rd or 4th in line at Left back come next year.

Last time I had a look. Norway had the highest GDP per capita in the world.
Guess which country had the second highest? Australia!
So it might be marginally more expensive in Norway. But it's not much worse/better than Australia.

You must be talking about the human development index in which Norway is 1st and Australia 2nd Australia is no where near 2nd highest gdp per capita, (a VERY long way off) we're barely top 10/15. Norway isn't even top 2, thats Qatar/Luxembourg. PS. If you are talking about cost of living Norway is a LOT (a LOT) more expensive than Australia. A big mac from Norway is overvalued by 5.8% and undervalued in Australia by 24.1%. Thats almost 30% difference. Edited by The Fans: 2/5/2016 08:54:44 PM

What I did find from personal experience was that Norway was the most expensive country I've been in. I found Sweden and Australia came not far off. Cities like London, Paris and Rome were absurdly expensive, but this wasn't consistent outside the capitals. I've never been to Qatar or Luxembourg, however.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_GDP_(PPP)_per_capita You are correct, The Fans. I stand corrected. I found Oslo to be more expensive than Melbourne, but not drastically so. I cooked my own food and found that a steak there would be maybe a couple of dollars more expensive than in Melbourne. I paid the same for entry at nightclubs and drinks at nightclubs that I used to pay when I'd go out in Melbourne. Basically, I found Sweden and Australia to be about the same cost-wise. Norway was the next step up. Edited by quickflick: 2/5/2016 09:03:52 PM

inala brah wrote:like sydney vs melbourne - and it completely depends on where you are. not many tourists get into the suburbs to buy their beer and steak. This is true and we must always be mindful of it. I'll expand on that and say what renders Scandinavian countries and Australia more expensive than lots of other parts of the world is just this. You see, the tourist spots in cities like London, Paris and Rome are very expensive. Geared towards tourists. They're much more expensive than the outer suburbs. But with Australia and Scandinavian countries... even though the more urban parts are more expansive than places on the outskirts, these places are fairly consistently expensive. I found at least. For that reason, the overall cost of living in places like Scandinavia and Australia tends to me more expensive than various other parts of the world, even in Europe and North America.
