Tourism, haven't done any of those courses yet, but that's what I'm hoping to do.

At UoN there's 11(I think) core courses that everyone doing Business has to do, then the remaining 13 are for majors/double majors. Hopefully by the end of this semester I'll have completed 7 core courses

There are three people here with degrees in audio production on here. None of them hav ejobs in the industry. In fact, of the 32 people in my class just 2 are working in the industry.

I follow the UoN Stalkerspace page and People Sleeping at UoN page. The Stalkerspace one used to be good, then people started advertising in it, and the latest FB update has made the page dead.

Do you guys have iconic figures at your unis? We have the 'Dapper Gentleman', Rasta-man, Rubber Ducky-Tie guy and Afroman (this guys Afro is the biggest I've ever seen, it's beautiful :lol: )

We have the Asian grounds keeper, everyone is his best mate, and he bows to you all the time when you say hi :lol: nicest bloke you'll ever meet

We also have a lecturer who's old enough to be gandalf's cousin :lol:

Serious time now: What is it like after school is done? I seriously am having problems of what to do, don't know what to do at Uni :/

If you haven't figured I am into music/arts and I have my band and it would be a blessing to become full-time after school (possible) but then again I gotta be have a plan B. I am keen on either contemporary music, media/communications/(preferably sports)journalism or straight up teaching (Prim/Sec don't really mind).

I am considering options staying here in Sleepy old Perth, going over East (Don't know much about Uni's over east) or even going abroad (USA, Europe, Asia)... Any advice would be greatly appreciated. My school has like open days and stuff to UWA and Curtin Uni but being in one of those elitist boys schools they just showcase Medicine, Law etc. (Not having a dig, just not my passion) so like I am sorta left out...

If any experienced friends of life could help that would be greatly appreciated just to at least share some stories or whatever :)

Big day for you Dj, hope you nailed em mate! I wouldn't come to Sydney, the cost of living is just too high for a student living out of home.

I knew of a guy who went over to Canada, picked up a job and effectively did a TAFE music course for a year. He had a sweet time from a life experience perspective and also got to feel his way into musical life after school.

A lot of people did year 12 last year. I think KB's doing year 12?

Does anyone know if we have any academics on the forum?

Yep.... I'd say I've spent 25 hours over the last 4 days 'doing my assignment' and I have 2 lines.

Agree with that, I just don't miss school from a people perspective. A uni lifestyle with year 12 work? Yes please!

Year 11 for me, basically the same stuff you do but easier. I'm assuming you do VCE?
