That the catholic university in Strathfield? I live not too far from there but go to USYD at Camperdown.

@ EG and YerNathanael I get them from wherever I can find them. If they're pretty common textbooks try searching for them on some of the websites listed here just scroll down and you'll see a list of possible sources.

When I spoke to Centrelink last year they said most claims take around a month to process, so you should have it soon!

Deferring university this year. ANU made it extremely easy to do so: Don't do anything. Just don't enrol in any courses.

Went straight from school in 2012 to uni in 2013, but want to travel this year. Only reason I'm taking a gap year in 2014 as opposed to 2013 was because of the World Cup. Always been a dream to go to it and here is the opportunity. Going to follow that up with a few months in Europe.

Completed my first year of a Bachelor of Arts/Masters in International Affairs at ANU in November. Was studying History, International Relations, Italian and Spanish with an eye to teaching. When I return in 2015, I may ditch International Relations for another teaching subject.. probably Ancient History, maybe Geography. That'll obvious mean I don't continue with the "Masters in International Affairs " bit but hopefully I'll do a Masters or Honours in history or languages. For teaching, the more teaching subjects the better.

We'll see.... just gonna enjoy this year first and then worry about it in more depth later. Although fearful my Italian and Spanish will become atrocious having not studied it for a year. :?

Literally had the most muppet start to the semester.
Missed week 1 because I was in rAdelaide, then turn up today to go to my first class, and it turns out that I wrote down the wrong start time for the class. Only discovered this after a insisting that the role to the tutor had was wrong and that I was allocated to that class.
I was actually supposed to be there an hour earlier. Fuck.

I am literally that flog that I laugh at every semester.

Doing TV News, Music Writing and Print Production this semester. Print Production is basically running the uni newspaper for the two issues it's published this semester. I have the role of Sports Editor for the first issue, which i'm looking forward to.

The downside to Print Production are the production periods. We have two, 8 day periods where all we do is edit, compile, re-edit and print the paper. We have to do a minimum 32 hours per period, but the teacher reckons it ends up being more lik 70-80 hours per period. We basically can't do anything else, like work, sport or go out with friends, during those 8 day periods. They're very full on.

Thinking of moving nearer campus sometime this semester (UNSW). Was looking at the new college, but way too overpriced. Will probably have to stick to Coogee or thereabouts.

3rd year chemical eng, was expecting a brutal timetable but its heaps less than the two previous years, a lot more self directed learning is expected.

Need to line up an internship for the summer break too :?
