Yep but it was called UAI back in my day  Also not sure what SAC stands for  Might sound reasonable or outrageous, but for every course I did that wasn't english I grabbed a syllabus, started at the first dot point, and wrote a summary on it. I did this for the entire syllabus. I then added in examples for each summary (whether it be formulas, questions, etc) and at the end of it, I had written my own textbook on the subject. That's about as helpful as I can be - summaries worked best for me. Fyi I did extension maths, physics, PDHPE, modern history, english, engineering studies.

Pricing European Options Using (A particular... not decided yet) Insurance Risk Method Applying for a range of graduate jobs atm in the finance sector but I ultimately want to be a trader. Even applying for some sports administration roles within the uni if I can not make the breakthrough. I'm in my second week of my first semester completing the Honours component of my degree. The workload is nothing compared to what it'll be like in 3 months time. What's your paper on? Are you a PHD student? Edited by helloworld1992: 14/3/2014 11:02:05 AM No, I'm currently completing, finally, the work experience component of a bachelor of engineering. My thesis studied the effectiveness of using natural energy shape structures (eg. trees, river deltas, blood vessels, lightning) to distribute heat energy through a system compared to modern manufacturing methods (eg. brick and baffle or zigzag). The idea being that energy distributes through the easiest path so by copying the structure less energy is needed to to drive the transfer of the same amount of heat.

Exam timetable came out the other day and I'm absolutely gutted that the two latter fixtures for the Australia games fall on the days of my exam.
I have had this experience happen before albeit when the Merseyside derby was on. As an Everton supporter I really wanted to watch it but it finished at 3:30am and my exam was 8:30am that morning, I ended up watching the whole match, went to the exam and ACED IT (It was 2nd year statistics)! Probably won't do it again though with it being my final year.
Anyone else have the same problem?

Yeah I have an exam on the afternoon that Australia play Spain at 2am, no chance I'm missing that game though
Pretty glad I'm at least half way through my degree considering the idea to raise the student contribution towards tertiary education in tomorrow's federal budget. The 41% (average) contribution I make to paying off my degree is leaving me with a big enough HECS debt as it is.

Yeah pretty pleased I'll finish my degree next year and avoid all that, will suck for all the kids I'll be teaching though.

3 credits this semester :( I was 1% off a distinction in the class I worked my ass off in as well. Really pissed off I didn't get it, I thought I deserved it, especially when a large chunk of the unit is based on participation, and I spent so much fucking time at uni for that unit. I know the tutor rarely gives out distinctions, but it still pisses me off.
