A lot of the major breweries are doing a cider now since the "cider resurgence" 3-4 years ago.

If it's out here, it'll be being imported by Lion (Tooheys). Haven't seen it it my works bottleshop, but I'll keep an eye out for it at Dan Murphy's/BWS.

Have you seen the Stella one? By brother thinks its top stuff but we've not seen it in Aus before...

Pretty sure all the major Euro lagers now have their own ciders. Somersby is made by Carlsberg.

So... Stella Artois do an apple cider, who knew? I don't drink it much, but my brother and Dad rate it massively.

If you smash them down quickly you just end up suddenly absolutely blotto :lol:

I find you need to drink them ice, ice cold and really quickly. Once it warms up it becomes overly sweet and almost syrupy.

I'm actually getting really over Somersby, they're too sweet and leave your teeth feeling furry.

Had some Newtons cider up at eppalock . Cuz got some didn't mind it

Got a Cider Picks six pack from the cousins. Has Monteiths, 3 oaks, Castaway, 5 Seeds, Dirty Granny and Koppaberg.

Don't be saying shit like that when you're a Strongbow drinker :lol:

Spent Xmas eve on the ciders all afternoon. Got bloated as and seriously seedy the next day. Though that may be because I was having a pint for every one else's jack and coke :lol:

Having some Monteith ' s now . Not bad not bad at all

Bought a four pack of Monteith's, it better be good.

I think that was my 6th in about 3 hours with most of them being the bigger double unit sizes. :lol:

Got 3 bottles of Kirin today, keen to try it out.

I had the Fuji + Mikan the other day after i saw it at the bottleshop and remembered it mentioned here, so so good, will definitely get again.

Will check it out. I totally loved the Stones Ginger beer when I had it earlier this year.

Went to get some cider for the xmas break yesterday & the bottleo only had Strongbow. Bought it anyway, but not the biggest fan. It's like the Crownies of the cider world IMO.

strongbow. not as bad as i thought it would be.

my sisters boyfriend bouht over some sotherby, in a can, not bad.

so from the local bottlo i'll jsut stick to koperberg from now on.

Honestly, most of the time I'd rather drink Strongbow than Koppaberg or Rekorderlig's glorified cordial.

If you're digging the Ginger Beer, get onto Lick Pier. For mine, it's the best ginger beer on the market.

If you don't like beer like myself, once you've tried some of the more pricey ciders, you'll never ever go back to Strongbow unless you're at a restaurant and that's all they have. So so average.

I tried one new one just now. Bilpin Apple. At first I was like "what the fuck is this shit" but it's not too bad after going through a bit more.

My favourite so far is Kopparberg. The only new one I have that I haven't tried is strongbow and it's reputation precedes it so I'm not expecting much.
