Bought some drinks tonight. Did a variety because most of it was pretty cheap and I wanted to try various types.
Kopparberg Apple: Nice, I rate it.
Not cider, but Stones Ginger Beer. Always liked Ginger Beer, even when I was a kid with the non-alcoholic stuff so this was a nice flavour.
Koppaberg Elderberry & Lime: Wasn't a fan at first, but seemed quite unique. Wouldn't buy it again but wasn't bad.
Castaway: Bought it because it was cheap as shit, and it tasted like it. Bland, more like beer, crap aftertaste. Never buying it again.

OK, now that I have had 7 of them I feel comfortable reviewing The B Cider Companys TWO PINK LADIES
It's a very good first effort, and was well worth the investment. The crisp sharp mouth feel is exactly what I look for in a cider, although I feel like the clean apple flavour was missing. The high alcohol content helps!
I'll be honest, the first bottle I had was warm out of the box and only poured over ice and really not that pleasant. The 6 I drank tonight was after 24 hours of refrigeration and much improved.

I tried one new one just now. Bilpin Apple. At first I was like "what the fuck is this shit" but it's not too bad after going through a bit more.
My favourite so far is Kopparberg. The only new one I have that I haven't tried is strongbow and it's reputation precedes it so I'm not expecting much.

If you don't like beer like myself, once you've tried some of the more pricey ciders, you'll never ever go back to Strongbow unless you're at a restaurant and that's all they have. So so average.

So so average. Honestly, most of the time I'd rather drink Strongbow than Koppaberg or Rekorderlig's glorified cordial. mack wrote:Not cider, but Stones Ginger Beer. For mine, it's the best ginger beer on the market.

Went to get some cider for the xmas break yesterday & the bottleo only had Strongbow. Bought it anyway, but not the biggest fan. It's like the Crownies of the cider world IMO.

Got bloated as and seriously seedy the next day. Though that may be because I was having a pint for every one else's jack and coke

I'm actually getting really over Somersby, they're too sweet and leave your teeth feeling furry.

So... Stella Artois do an apple cider, who knew? I don't drink it much, but my brother and Dad rate it massively.
