Do you think it's right that we have a guaranteed spot for each of North Queensland and non-Brisbane South Queensland, or should the remaining 4 regional clubs been thrown in with the final 4 Brisbane clubs for a random quarter final draw. I think that Australia, for the size and population needs constraints. Maybe one day we could do that but the result of not having regional qualifying is a shit load of forfeits. I didn't mean getting rid of regional qualifying all together. I just meant for the last round. I think one long distance trip isn't a lot to ask. Maybe later down the track but for now it's good to play it safe. It's the first cup.

Next year I'd like to see one round of games combined prior to the FFA Cup national rounds.

South very very lucky to get away with a 1-0 win tonight. Dandy by far the better team on the night but copped a real sucker punch goal from a corner that South managed to scramble over the line. The final few minutes were real nerve racking, a real cup tie. Good night out there in Dandy, good hosts. One more win and we are through.
