Edited by Joffa: 2/7/2014 08:48:31 PM Rumoured that Lampard will be announced tomorrow morning 10am EST. If so, I expect Heart's tally to soar. Also, fantastic work by Victory on that coin initiative that is mentioned a few posts above. Hopefully clubs follow their lead in that regard.

The Club has nearly reached 1,000 members after only 3 days. If we get over 1,000 members by tomorrow I will give 1 lucky member a 2013/14 playing shirt personally signed by me.
We are very happy to see so many passionate members have joined already, and we want to see more. If you have already joined we thank you, and we ask you to encourage your friends and family to join as members. If you have not joined yet, you can do it now by clicking here, or by calling 1300 GO REDS (1300 467 337).

Last night, head coach Josep Gombau offered a signed playing shirt to one lucky member if we passed 1,000 members overnight. the 1000th member joined last night, and sales continued strong today. We have now surpassed 1,200 members after the first 4 days. That's double what we sold in the first week last season and is the best start to our membership campaign since 2009/10.

Just received an email from AUFC saying we've reached 1200 members. Memberships are selling at twice the pace as last year and this is our fastest start since the 2009/10 season.

Whats the delay with the other clubs?
Seems like they have been significantly slower this year. Did they figure that the WC was on and would wait? Interesting logic if true.

Joffa, where are you getting some of your figures from? 'Fromthestands' says Glory has 1,800 members so far and the figures are different for some other clubs too. I'm not sure where they source their figures either, but given it's Glory, it's usually a mystery to extract any kind of numbers from them?!

Swarth wrote:the wanderers have 8,500 less members at this time compared to last season, worrying times for the wanderers You're joshing, right? Blue Text please? ;) :p FTR Just because Joffa and the rest of us don't have the figures doesn't mean there aren't any. We can 'presume' for instance that SFC have a couple thousand renewals, at conservative guess-timates. We might speculate too that your club may have even more renewals already, if their packages etc... are already out? The recent change in ownership 'may' be a factor, but given their impressive campaign etc... before, I'm sure we're set to see something similar, once more? :-k Edited by GloryPerth: 9/7/2014 03:35:19 PM

Swarth, it IS a little strange I guess - I mean your club had a neat little net campaign, with that banner reflecting the growing support for Wanderers. People were sharing it here. He really helped to reflect momentum and buzz and we all saw it as the membership ballooned to astounding levels! Edit, seems it was via FB, here is an example from last year's thread: June 6th, 2013- http://au.fourfourtwo.com/forums/default.aspx?g=posts&t=82745 wrote:Gyfox on 06/06/13 wrote:waggzzz2 on 06/06/13 wrote: 808 renewals in the first 4 hours. There are lots of reports of people that have renewed that are now waiting for 25 June so they can get memberships for family and mates in seats beside them. Well that's some good news! =d> Edited by GloryPerth: 10/7/2014 07:21:53 PM
