There is apparently a heap of GA season ticket members who are yet to renew their membership, solely because we don't see a home game until Round 5 and they're just lazy. I can easy see another 1-2k people start to sort their memberships between now and then.

Expect a nice little jump once FC and Victory announce updates. It's been longer than a week since their last one.

Will be a huge challenge to get close to that next year though if the club has another disappointing season. There will be no Villa boost next year, and even this year that looks to have been short lived :(

Newcastle Jets have passed 8,500 members

You would think the owners would want to be the biggest Australian club ,so I can see them finding more high profile players next season.

If WSW win the ACL they might think that they are within a chance themselves.

On the upside, I heard they sold out of home jerseys and a bunch of other merch at the game the other day. Hopefully that means the fans are becoming attached to the club itself, not just rocking up to see David Villa.

How many of the 10k are going to actually go to games after Villa has left? I'm sure many bought memberships thinking they'd be able to watch Villa play 10 matches, including 5 at home which they can attend.

Considering the huge crowd Adelaide United had on Friday night against Victory, their membership is very small. Is enough being done to grow their membership base?

Says more about you than it does about us... ever since we've come in the reason why you've had no success is that you always try and turn everything we do into a negative instead of worrying about your own backyard.

I can understand you are threatened as over the next 5 years we will build into something your team and club should have been, it will happen, and you realise this, as its just not talk.
