Blyth Spartan wrote:Spurs are run by money grabbing businessmen, they sold berbatov and keane ,instead of paying them more, they play Lennon as a winger instead of a cAM feeding off a strong CF, Ramos is a bewildered coach who cannot fathom the EPL. Spurs are worse in execution than Newcastle,at least NUFC have an excuse. I enjoy and respect spurs as a football idealog, the owners have betrayed them,Keane and Berbatov...mmm where did the money from them go,so close to sale of club time...or is that cynical? paul Gascoigne was one of many past great spurs players,so is Keane and Berbatov, no team can sell these two and expect good Football Karma.
Edited by Blyth Spartan: 8/10/2008 02:58:47 PM Shame what is happening to Spurs, and i personally blame management along with Levy. But Ramos surely cant be blamed here. Ramos brought them their first piece of silverware in god knows when he had the squad he wanted. Then all of a sudden the team is torn up and he is left plugging holes. Ramos isnt to blame and come January when Spurs are able to spend Rmaos should be able to get his team to start getting the points together.

Quote:Our defence is the best part of our team at the moment, in our last 9 games we've only conceded 11 goals. Not spectacular granted, but hardly "leaking" You do know a sieve doesn't let everythign through right?? Most of the goals that spurs have conceded have been goals they really shouldn't have. The defenders have been left flat-footed and looked like they really didn't care either way. Quote:2. Pace has absolutely nothing to do with our problems at the moment, if you are talking of speed, we have a very quick team, but I don't really get this point. Feel free to clarify. I'm not talking about the speed at which the players are capable of running. More the pace and style of play in england, it's different to that of spain and Ramos isnt' used to it, he still plays a spannish kind of football IMO and it doesn't really work as is. It's ok for cup football, but in the league, where teams are happy to sit back, defend and take a draw it's not so good. Quote:3. What oversupply of attacking mids? First team attacking midfielders; Dos Santos, Modric, Jenas at a pinch. Once again in your misguided diagnosis you don't know the facts. Yeah, forget about Bentley and Lennon...Having Gio, Modric, Jenas, Bentley, Lennon (that's 5 players) and a striker or two, plus defensive midfielders and a back 4, it's a stretch to fit them all in. Quote:4. Far, far superior keeper to Robinson. Gomes is quite typically Brazilian really in that he is brilliant but erratic. Has kept us in many games so far this season, Gomes is the least of our troubles. Gomes is your typical brazilian keeper allright, he makes a brilliant save one minute and then bungles the next ball that comes his way. Cock-up after cock-up was Robinson's area of expertise, but at least Gomes makes a few good saves...hence the ' almost'. Quote:Whats the difference between Tottenham and a triangle? Careful with that joke, it's an antique. Quote:I enjoy and respect spurs as a football idealog, the owners have betrayed them,Keane and Berbatov There was no point keeping Berba, he wanted to leave and he would have sulked if he didn't get to. He has all the loyalty of a baby in a topless bar.

I've got to say, I'm pretty happy with this turn of events. Always liked Juande but his results spooke for himself, and nothing makes me happier than being rid of Commoli.
'Arry the new Guv, a pure cockney boyo can't be a bad thing for us let's hope.

Bet the headline in the morning is one:P As long as the headline ain't proclaiming a raping by Arse I'll be happy. Let's hope Ledders can get on the pitch, imagine that, 3 games in a week... Right you lot, and by that I mean afro, I'm off to bed. School tomorrow, got my next door neighbour taping the game and two free periods to finish the day, avoid all mobile phone/internet/paper/people who are carrying the result, get home, whip meself up some mi goreng and prepare to cry myself to sleep  . For what it's worth, hope 'Arry lines us up as follows... -----------Gomes Hutton---Woody---King---Bale Bentley--O'Hara--Jenas--Gio ----------Modric -----------Bent O'Hara for steel in midfield, Jenas always plays a blinder against le Arse, Gio and Bentley feeding in balls behind for Bent to snatch up. If King can't play, Corluka in, and Lennon to come on late and tear up Clichy. Here's hoping...:) COYS

'Harry Redknapp's virgin arse clash ended with Arsenal reaming him a new one as they smashed 8 down Tottenham's hole.'Yeah, I'm done:lol: Quote:Right you lot, and by that I mean afro, Yeah, well there's several of me here:lol: Quote:and prepare to cry myself to sleep  Don't let mk see you saying that or you'll be branded emo for life lol. I would have played Corluka for Woodgate too.

EPIC Here are the goals for all you yiddos :) http://www.101greatgoals.com/videodisplay/1713673/ - Bentley, perhaps the best goal scored in a Spurs shirt for some time http://www.101greatgoals.com/videodisplay/1713747/ - Bent. Cheers Alumia http://www.101greatgoals.com/videodisplay/1713830/ - Jenas. Just superb, told you he'd rip it up  And finally, that tiny god of ours, Aaron Lennon - http://www.101greatgoals.com/videodisplay/1713836/The fans in the sandwich, the look on Wengers face, utterly sublime. :d COYS

Will Torres be fit? I fancy our chances if you're without your only good player.

:d  You'd love to have players the quality of Carragher, Agger, Gerrard, Mascherano, Babel and Riera in your team and you know it. If we can get the points off Chelsea without Torres, Spurs should be no problem at all.

Should be a good match. Ill let you know that if we get 2 in front that'll be the end. No Arse crumble. I reckon there will be goals. Maybe 3-1. Liverpool ftw of course.

like the portsmouth game, we need to come away with all 3 points, no excuses.
I think we can do it 2-1 or 3-1

It will probably be by the odd goal, but it will be 2-0 before they score methinks. 2-1 (Kuyt, Gerrard - Bentley)
