Couple of surprises, especially Apollo getting the win. Cumberland won the tournament in '09, now they can't even get past amateurs from Mt. Gambier. Quote:Metro Stars 13 International 0 That's somewhat less of a surprise.

Well according to old mate Gallop this was to be rectified this year. He has dropped the ball here. No doubt. Especially if you're talking about tripling the numbers. What if there is some solid talent in Echuca? You'd never know.

All they need to do is regionalize Vic qualifying for the first few rounds: Melbourne Metro South East Sout West Central Sunraysia East Gippsland West Gippsland North East/Alpine Far West

I get the feeling Wagga City could possibly go all the way. Mid-Week trips for amateur clubs, even semi-pro clubs are going to be difficult, so Wagga could potentially cause a few cupsets.

Even if Wagga some how got past South Coast Wolves in round 6, they would face a mid week round 7 trip to Sydney to face one of Olympic, Bonnyrigg or Manly, so no chance there.

The best way foR Vic would be regionalised Rounds 1-5. In the following regions: Melbourne (split N/W and S/E if you wanted) Geelong Gippsland Ballarat/Warrnambool Bendigo / Sunraysia Goulbourn Valley/ Wodonga Npl teams coming in at round 4. I've worked it out and it flows fine.
