Now with only Northbridge and prospect standing in our way, it will be a massive fail if we don't go through.

I tipped Port on Futbol24 purely for the fact it was their home game. They are paying $1.91.

Avondale's home ground would have been a massive advantage due to how ridiculously small and narrow it is, they're usually really effective there but I haven't seen them play away from home before so I'll be interested to see how things pan out. I'd be tipping Port too based on Friday's game where they were only denied a win against South Melb due to blatant cheating in extra time but I think this one really could go either way

Not sure how it fails lighting requirements. Fairly sure they play NPL 2 night games there. Surely they could have moved it to somewhere like Cromer Park?

As I've mentioned before the problem with NB oval is its limit of holding a moderate crowd. Just having the NB faithful fills out the limited western end spectator only area. I'm sure this is the issue and believe me I know NB are pissed losing home advantage but not much they can do about it.

And united fans in general normally carry close to 100 if not more... well would of been close for that night... I was looking forward to playing away actually

Smallish grandstand, and I suppose they won't allow people to stand behind the Southern goal - (near the cricket nets). United are pretty lucky they get to host the match - like I said earlier, surprised they didn't move to it somewhere more 'homely' for Northbridge, Cromer Park for example.

Cromer might not be available. For all we know, Northbridge may have agreed to move it to United - doubtful, but you'd assume that they had first choice for an alternative.

Heiny, even during SL2 games spectators arn't allowed near the nets and the flat area behind the goals, obviously interference issues and the like near the entire goal line. Grandstand if you could call it is being kind LOL...... I agree your mention of Cromer and as Sydcro mentions probably booked or better still Christie Park for eg....... I'd say for sure NB had first option but had to accept due to circumstances - hopefully I find out the "facts" tonight.
