Please, please, PLEASE, sign Jay Rodriguez. And also Ben Davies. And Toby Alderweireld.

Great news RE: Hugo. Wouldn't mind us going after Rojo, I know Liverpool are after him but I reckon it would be worth a shot. Poch is keeping his cards close to his chest that's for sure.

New kits are rank. Would post but on phone.
In other news, rumours are coming in about Griezmann and Pirlo , not like we need a winger or a CM but would be sensational. Doubt either will happen tbh but would be happy with this.
Lloris Walker-Lovren-Vertonghen-Rojo (probably Davies) Sandro Lamela-Paulinho-Dembele-Eriksen Soldado
Can even make a half decent team from our squaddies (Not including Siggy who will more than likely leave) Friedel Naughton-Dawson-Chiriches-Rose Bentaleb Lennon-Carroll-Holtby-Townsend Adebayor

Siggurdsson leaves, Vorm and Davies come in. Don't understand the Vorm signing tbh, we really don't need 3 good keepers. All of them are for undisclosed fees btw.

Vorm is certainly a strange one.
I guess they know Hugo will leave at the end of the year if (when) you don't get UCL so they're making sure they have a good keeper all ready to go for next year :P

I'm happy with the Vorm signing because it means Fabianski is #1 at Swansea :d

Schneiderlin and Jay Rod both reportedly close to signing, both good signings (although Rodriguez is a massive risk).

Tbh don't really want them, I trust in Ade/Soldado up front (reckon Soldado will improve this year) and we have a lot of good holding midfielders. Paulinho, Sandro, Dembele, Capoue and Holtby can all play there. Plus youngsters like Bentaleb and Carroll. IMO we need a centre back and a winger, not really sure who we could go for at CB but Depay is a good option on the wing. EDIT: Although we would probably play Jay Rod on the wing anyway. Also hearing Kyle Naughton to Swansea and Miguel Lopes (Sporting Lisbon/Portugal RB/LB) on loan. Would be very happy with that business.

Musacchio signs, looks like the end of the road for Dawson and/or Kaboul. Think that will be about it for us in the transfer market.

Btw could you please change the Spurs fans on the forum part to Benelsmore, Maxi, Vaughn and I? Cheers. And if you could change the COYS part of the thread title to 'In Poch we Trust' that would be great too.

I've been out of the country but 6-1 over celtic with 6 different goal scorers.
Celtic put out a poor team but that's usually our poison.
We have a much more positive looking midfield.

Yeah really looking forward to this year, this is the first year in a while where I am excited but have zero expectations, we probably won't make top 4 but we'll play good football, something which has been very inconsistent in the past few years.

Loving how Lamela and Holtby are looking in pre season. They're both just as good as new signings. A bit more talk about Depay overnight, still think we need another wide player.

Is Lamela going to play centrally though? I think time is almost up for Lennon, he needs to be made to fight for his place.

It's definitely time for Lennon to fight, we need someone to challenge him and Andros isn't really there yet.

2-1 win over Schalke, couldn't watch it but have read that Holtby was MOTM with Dier a close second. Still trying to work out if Soldado's goal was instinct or luck after seeing it.

I mean if you consider just trying to get himself infront of the ball as meaning it then sure, but imo he knew nothing about it  Just got lucky that it hit him.

That was how Spurs should play.
The only thing i'm disappointed about was Lamela not getting a goal he so thoroughly deserved!!!

You guys did look very good but oh my word QPR was disgracefully bad!
Dier looks a very good player, good business.
What happens when Walker is back though? Does he play CB next to Jan?
