So I go away on Saturday for a week. I am hoping to start the actual game as soon as I get back. Because of this I will ask that if the people that put their name down but haven't put their stats in (11.mvfc.11, scouse_roar, Socceroofan4life, RedKat and Shaker) could post it by the 16th. If any of these guys don't post their stats they will be replaced by entirely fictional, low rated players. Although if anyone who originally didn't enter puts their stats in by this date I will also add them into the game. If you have any of the people I listed on social media or something like that, I would appreciate it if you could just PM them reminding them, as they may have simply forgotten.

Scouse has contacted me on twitter (thanks Zimbos) and asked me to just tinker with another defenders stats for him. 4 more left.

Ok lads it is time to decide who is going to be the inaugural captain of FourFourTwo FC. I have listed on the survey 5 options, the reason for these players is that they are the only players with a leadership stat of over 10. Voting closes at 11:59PM on the 15th of January.

Given the positional needs, you can put my modern utility player or whatever my creation is, as another 'RB' option too, behind Fredsta. :) I can be a makeshift LB too, behind Inala, as I've given 'G Meister GP' 10 for the LB role and similar for LWB.

Heck, throw my guy in as a third-choice striker option too, if need be - as even though his finishing and off-the-ball are modest at 9, I presume my creation will have some potential ability to grow into. My guy might only be needed upfront, through injury crisis or a tactical switch to deeper defending, higher press or some kind of False #9 or Defensive Forward or some such, as my guy is strong in positioning, work-rate, anticipation, team-work and creativity+passing.



x2 Milan_7 as the 'Inspirational Captain'? :D Give yourself the necessary 15/16 Influence or more, if necessary - especially as my guy already has 12/13 influence and I doubt mine is the only one strong in that area. :p


BTW I wonder how many of our 'players' will end up being picked for 'Australia' and then, henceforth, leading Australia to World Cup glory? :p :D I'd just be happy if my guy just got picked for the Olyroos or Young Socceroos (If he's young enough :p). Though I doubt I'd be the only one who might hope that their player can become the next bona fide world domineering wounderkinder/saviour for Ange and co - the kind who makes 'everybody's favourite Rogic' look like small fry and even gives the legend of Kewell a run for his money. :p

Just watching Australia v Kuwait now - I'm sure a few of us still day-dream, 'If I or my FM guy were on the field, he'd be working wonders and single-handedly taking the Socceroos to a new level, a one-hit panacea for all the issues.' :D

Looks here my son, Draupinho's leadership is 20. He is going to have a massive fucking whinge if he loses the captaincy to a lowly 12 or 13 rated "leader". Where's the vision for the future? Where's the manager's ability to recognise a natural born leader? Fark dat, I am going straight to the press.

I'll gladly reduce my leadership stat to not cause squad issues within the game mate. Only fair the creator of the game is captain tbh.

Just browsing through some of the posted stats for some of you others - Gees I was worried about going too over-board, super-player, so really attempted to tweak down - but some of your character's seem border-line World Class - you might need 140, 150.. 160odd+ 'Current Abilities' for some of you starting ratings?! :o :p

I interpreted the 175 for Technical and 170 for Mental etc as the recommended limits for the sum total rating for those categories, but if you are a little more generous, then I'll tweak my guy up a bit more too - Given this team of apparent Galaticos! :shock: ;) :p

I'm curious to see a submission with some truly modest, Sunday League standard/Barely A-League quality or less, stats (C/A below 90, P/A 95 max)- the true under-dog of the squad. :p :cool:

Anyway, our team of super-stars will surely barnstorm the Championship - set the record for earliest time achieving EPL promotion, ever? :p

I'm a bit confused on the format too - so Milan, will you actually be the manager, playing as a manager called 'Kevin Airs' - Or will you create it, then put it in Holiday mode for a couple seasons?! I presume the former? :-k

BTW Another 'Super' player - 20 Dribbling, Finishing, Touch AND Long shots! Just a lazy 18 for crossing and 17 for passing too. But there's nothing too super about it really, this is just another one of the pack of super-players in this team! ;) :lol:

The database is basically done, just need to add three people and tweak a few errors I made in my test save. It's just I've been on holiday the last week so away from my PC, will have the first update up early next week hopefully.

The game will automatically bring the stats down slightly based on the CA, the CA's range from 110-130. This is the range that most of the top championship teams have. And for the second part yes I will be managing the side under the name of 'Kevin Airs'.
