Qatar were up 3:0 and held on to win 3:2 in HK. 52mins in Malaysia still 0:0 with Saudi.
Thailand have come back from 2:0 down vs Iraq to make it 2:2 and that's full time.

Syria with 6:0 wins against Afghan and Cambodia and also defeated Singapore. They're on 9 points ahead of Japan by 2. Surely they can't hold Japan on the next matchday?

Tonight there are 7 matches were the 2nd seed host the 1st Seed which can obviously end up having a decent bearing on who finishes 1st in each group and also how the top four 2nd ranked teams stack up at the end of the stage
Interestingly enough all games are kicking off within a 2 and a half hour span from midnight Melb time Group E: Syria v Japan Group A: Saudi Arabia v United Arab Emirates Group B: Jordan v Australia Group D: Oman v Iran Group G: Kuwait v South Korea Group H: Bahrain v Uzbekistan Group C: Qatar v China

Vietnam 1-0 Iraq heading into halftime, probably should be 2-0. Open and entertaining match. Chris Beath on the whistle.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Interesting to see all these results. Thanks Scotty. I cannot believe that Syria looked like they played at home.

Kyrgyzstan a point behind us now. Need Turkmenistan to shock Jordan for us. Syria amongst others are really making the 2nd place table tough. We really stuffed it by losing to Jordan. If we'd won, being 4 points ahead would be very nice.
