You are completely wrong.I and three friends had platinum memberships last year.We didn't get to half of the games because of the ridiculous scheduling.So this time we buy on game day.
They say membership has privileges.Last year there were none.We didn't even get a membership pack with a cheap scarf.
Add to that most people aren't stupid.The best way of showing your displeasure to the owners is not get memberships ,but turn up on game day to support the team.

Pretty much exactly what crimson said. There are many people incredibly committed to the club that refuse to buy a membership whilst those morons are still in charge, myself included. I will still turn up win, lose or draw to support the players.

Might feel like that, but whilst its the Bakries losing $30k a week, what's the reason to rush in ? There'll still be 11 orange shirts running around providing TV Content whatever.

One Brisbane Franchise is guarantee by the Fox Deal, and given that the Roar Brand name still has some value left, it shouldn't get canned.

I'm only guessing but I would think the Brisbane fans care; and as for TV - my guess is they care given Brisbane provides its third biggest TV audience who aren't likely to tune in to see some southern ponces trying to play attractive football. Again only a guess but I'm pretty sure Brisbane fans and the TV company that pays all the bills will care!

Two things confuse me nickk - first is Roar have typically had average attendance in the Top 3 in the HAL - hardly fickle fans, and last season our average home attendance was comparable to Nix, Adelaide and Perth despite being at the opposite end of the table. So who's got the fickle fans? Plus we were the only club to play games on all seven days, had our 2 biggest draw card games postponed from weekend to midweek games, and suffered the worst wet weather in HAL record including having a game abandoned half way through. So crowds were down but still up there with sides doing better in spite of all that ..

And the LFC game/ticket comment reveals you as a bit of a troll mate; as any Roar member can tell you having a membership last year didn't guarantee you a ticket for that game, just another factor on the list of things Dobson did to p*ss fans off - only about 8,000 road fans got tickets and half of them weren't members.

The most important thing is those Brisbane youngsters will get another season to run around and develop before moving to Europe and thats the only thing that matters.

The facts are that after 10 years and 2 different ventures and more on-field success than could reasonably be hoped for it's still sinking.

That many Roar fans are hoping the Coffee Club boys come back is fair measure of how bad things really are.

No club/franchise will ever make a profit in Brisbane unless they move away from Suncorp. Anyone taking over would have to tell the FFA im only playing the big games Victory,Sydney etc at Suncorp and the rest at Perry Park or Balllymore. Perry Park only holds 5kish? and some fans will miss out but i think its the only way it would work, Ballymore is a a prick to get too but still could be used.
