Hit up Bar Luca in the Sydney CBD yesterday. This is the 'Blame Canada'-Wagyu pattie, double American cheese, maple bacon, and poutine. So, so good. Bacon the highlight here. 4.2/5. post imgEdited by BRFC_92: 23/2/2016 02:02:46 PM

Glad they don't have tomato either, as much as i like it,"it ruins a burger cause it makes itc slide apart. I hate a messy burger, i should hold together and shouldn't ooze but should be really juicy. 8bit is perfect and the chicken makes this one super rich.

This is the Nevada Burger from Miss America's Diner in Riverwood, which is a pop up every Friday and Sunday nights at a cafe called Spot Cafe (I think). Would definitely recommend this burger and place. pictures upload

Who's keen? If its burgers you crave, come to Melbourne. Been to Melbs and done: 8bit (amazing, 4.5/5) Mr. Scruff's (amazing, 4.2/5) Grand Trailer Park Taverna (good, 3.5/5) Ziggy's (very good, 3.8/5) If you get back to Melbourne make an effort to get out to Tuck Shop Takeaway, that'd be my favourite by a fair way. Where's that? It's in Caulfield, sort of near Ziggy's actually, it could be tricky to get to without a car depending on where you're staying but worth the effort imo https://www.facebook.com/TuckShopTakeAway/ Thanks dude. If you do head there I'd recommend ordering their off-menu burger The Bully. I'm keen to try the Melbourne Madness at Easeys: http://easeys.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/Menu_Oct2015_Landscape.jpgI went there once but there was some problem with their liquor licensing not kicking in until a certain time on Sunday arvo/evening and we were keen for some beers so we bailed and went to Mr Scruffs instead Sweet as brother. Yeah Easey's looks mint, will have to give it a whirl.

The Maco wrote:SocaWho wrote:The Maco wrote:Melbourne is choc full of top burger places
Just around western suburbs (f**k travelling when good ones are around here) my top 3 are 8bit (was 10/10, dipped a little lately to a 9/10), new york minute (know the bloke that started it, really happy its successful and expanding, 10/10) & st.burgs (rate better than 8bit) Melbourne just kicks Sydneys ass when it comes to food period let alone burgers. :d havent been to sydney but a lot of people do say it is better down here (not wanting to get in another melbourne/sydney dick measuring contest  ) having lived in both and visited both significantly, all i would say is melbournes are concentrated in a smaller area...... sydney really covers a huge area and has some great eateries, they jut are spread the f%^k out.....unless you are only talking CBD

No nonsense burger, chips and shakes sort of place and perfect for a dirty feed. Bit too much sauce on my cheeseburger but I'm not going to hold it against them.

Regardless, apart from those two bogan infested shitholes, there's nothing wrong with the South. It was tongue and cheek m80 South just reminds me of the only time I used to go down there was for those ballbreaker 8:45 KO football matches in my early teens with a 90 minute trip from Modbury (where I lived at the time).

Is that the one near meatmother... a mate of mine who is a burger connoisseur says this place is only second to 8bit in footscray to best burger in australia... when travels he literally scopes out local burger joints and plans around them. As for 1090... if its close to meatmother ill proselytizing never try it cause i can't go past meatmother. Wanted to go there tonight but the closing hours are pretty crap. Would much rather a post game burger (or post FND in this case) but not possible here. The only good thing about playing the Nix away is the time zone, so post game burgers are a go right now.
