Not sure why education in african communities hasn't worked as well as we hoped when agreeing to bring them here to help them. What I do know is if someone bumps into my car I'm going check if they're sudanese before I pull over and let them bash me up and steal my car

But why don't they have jobs? Is it because places don't hire them, or is it because the money the government gives them for free covers their expenses. This is what a task force could look at. Is the government getting a return on the billions of dollars they spend on refugees.

For lack of a better term refugees are "damaged goods" for the south Sudanese they might have been living in a kenayan refugee camp before coming here, which can't be good for your development. The Syrians have their issues aswell. I went to primary then private senior school with a boy who came straight from South Sudan in grade 6. This was I think during the height of the Sudanese fighting. From what I remember in the very little English he had he said that he had been involved in the fighting and had used a machine gun. I never asked him in high school if that was true, wish I did I'm sure he's not alone with stories like that in the refugee community

The Italians in the 1960s, Vietnamese & Cambodians in the 1990s. It comes from being poor, having low language skills, and (for some groups) coming from war zones when they are psychologically damaged. With time it will pass, like it has with every other group.

That is a good thing - mafia crime is a lot harder to combat, and is institutionalised. The specific crimes being committed are different, but the root causes are the same.

Re a gay character on star wars
the larger the audience a film franchise has the more it has to pander/ cater to the overall spectrum of the audience
There are a lot of star wars fans, not all of them are straight. 1% of 1% of the world population is gay, but star wars needs to cater for that spectrum to represent the universe

#LGBTQIQWERTYWTF I think you meant to say 1% ? it is quite possible that 7-8% of the population is not straight.

This whole "pro gay" movement is not about saying that being hetero isnt normal, its about showing that sexuality is not black and white, Gay/ straight and that there are alot more people who dont identify as 100% hetero out there then people realise.
Are you worried that your validity as a straight man is eroding ?
I dont understand where the backlash to this is coming from in the wider community

#LGBTQIQWERTYWTF I think you meant to say 1% ? it is quite possible that 7-8% of the population is not straight. 10% is often thrown about but I think I've read that that relates to having had a homosexual experience. Obviously this is not the same as being a homosexual. My understanding is between 1% and 3% of the population identifies as gay and/or homosexual. Like you though I'm not sure how this, or even why this, bothers heterosexual people.

Like you though I'm not sure how this, or even why this, bothers heterosexual people. 3% maybe gay, then add the 3% who are bi, then another couple of percent who are transgender/other and obviously not everyone who is asked about their sexuality tells the truth so you can add another couple of percent who say they are straight but really aren't, And that's how you get closer to the 10% mark. the question isn't just about who is gay, it's who isn't 100% straight.

The funny thing is all those tough hetero guys who are wierded out by this still love to watch a guy get his dick sucked in porn, sounds kinda gay to me
I've always found it ironic that "straight" porn always involves an erect naked man

Soup is so incredibly overrated and isn't a suitable main meal option as a standalone. Except for pumpkin and/or sweet potato soup. But the rest, are just shit. Oh and the main villain in the soup game is bacon - bacon ruins all soup. I know there's this popular opinion that bacon makes everything better, but it singlehandedly destroys all soups.

Chunky Pea and Ham soup with thick bread rolls in winter is the best. But on the whole it never feels like a proper meal at dinner time.

If someone offers that for a meal, I hop in the car and head straight to the closest takeaway shop. I've spent years receiving soups from people saying "you have to try my mum's pea&ham soup" etc and every time, it underwhelms. Severely.
