I've said it before, but the articles that posters cut and paste from other football sources outside 442 and TWG are really informative.
ATM I can only access this forum with slow internet speed and IPad and IPhone access. The IPhone is too small to post, so all the info coming in from other sites is much appreciated.
My circumstances could continue for months, so any Oz football news outside the big two sources is much appreciated folks.

Most Asian teams that compete appear to be quite apathetic about it, likewise with their attendances. I'd say until there is big prize money on offer and a larger push for advertising to increase viewership and attendances, I can't see much changing in the short term (bar the CSL's massive push for European stars). -PB

Another positive about 442, is this competition. If the HAL generates little interest from the football community, in this state there are only a handful of people who follow the ACL who I know from the football milieu.
At the end of any ACL game, there are many passionate followers of the ACL who've viewed it on 442. The ACL is almost a secret competition that occurs off shore for most Aussies.

A moderator aligning himself with the without a doubt the sickest deluded loser stench fuck in Australian football is quite a disconcerting move on their part. Although everyone realises that he probably has little in the way of an outside existence beyond this forum I feel that they can do better in terms of whom they may favour in a forum sense. It certainly makes the forum wonder what kind of person they really are if they are perceived to be protecting such an insane mutt. As a moderator it isn't very becoming to be associated with the core mental sickness & pyschotic attention seeking darkness that the Tasmanian salesman conman & fraud seems to have in spades.

I'm speechless.
It is terrible the stuff that goes on Football Anarchy, Judy.
It is best that respected paragons of virtue like you, renowned for your altruism and community work, keep well away from it. Your prior participation on 442 displays those qualities in abundance. With all those impersonations, bogus accounts and multis, you never know who is who on there.
Thankfully, 442 provides a pleasant atmosphere away from all those acrimonious exchanges and hatred . I think it is abhorrent that a strip club is supposedly sponsoring Anarchy.
The axiom is that one needs an IQ below 70 and a criminal record to meet the criteria for membership on Anarchy. I didn't think you'd meet those criteria.

I've only met up with one other 442 member, due to tyranny of distance. Really enjoyed it. I offered to share my lounge for a Socceroo game with another travelling 442 member , but he said he would be with two other 442 members who would be pretty drunk after drinking whisky all day! Conversely, a lot of useful information, coaching resources, travel advice, stadium advice, ticket advice, different circumstances that occur in different Oz regions and overseas, etc, is shared on 442.

5. The fact that 442 constantly links articles from the 442 home page to the forum creates ongoing football content. I've seen another football forum gradually implode with no articles linked to the forum that generates ongoing football discussion.
442 may not be perfect, but it creates an opportunity to discuss football in Australia beyond one's home states.

Speaking from a mod point of view, I'm loving the people who are helping by self-policing the forum. I won't name names in the interest of letting them be anonymous if need be but I regularly get PMs asking for thread renames, thread moving, locking, post reports, user issues, etc. It's all done in a very civil way and is a hugely appreciated element of this forum that makes us mods jobs easier (as we don't get the chance to see everything) and in general contributes to making this place even better than it already is.
