Yeah, and they were hardly chasing the game, so it's pretty reasonable. Just hope the away loss didn't reflect too badly on him.

Rogic not playing isn't that bad. He has been featured heavily in Preseason so far. Celtics next two games are against Leicester City and Barcelona in the ICC. Hope he plays in those.

In other friendlies, Mat Ryan played the first half for Valencia in a 2-4 away win against a 3rd tier German club, conceding both goals. Video here. Leckie played the second half in a friendly against a newly relegated 4th tier team with no change in score. Degenek played the last 24 minutes in a 1-3 loss against first tier Gladbach. Ikon came on in the 71st minute for Lazio in a 2-1 win over a 3rd tier Italian team. Edited by paladisious: 21/7/2016 08:27:27 AM

General vibe from Celtic fans send that they'd prefer rogic not to start.

They seem to have turned a bit ho hum about him. Mind you they are a bit sooky :)

I've browsed them following Celtic games for a while and if you filter through the rubbish some of those with very high post counts are very fair in the way they appraise the game and players. Their comments are generally favourable towards Rogic.

mooys feedback unanimously positive on the huddersfield forum
many singling him out as their best player and a class above the ecl
the test will be week 30 of the ecl when he has been kicked in the groin by defenders for the 100th time and he realizes he is still only half way through a marathon season

why doesn't players like McGrath , tough it out in Australia and not run overseas after not getting a game in the A_league, it why Australia now fails at football :p
Edited by adrtho: 18/7/2016 01:52:30 AM This based on your extensive knowledge of the Danish league? Reckon THIS is the year that FCM will win? I know McGrath played more minutes on Sunday, then he played all season at Adelaide United it good to see players like Brent McGrath who was let go from AU after playing only 73 minutes and Dougall not been view good enough to be given a contact at Roar , but with in one year is a walk in starting for Eerste Divisie team Telstar why do you guys get so upset about failed players making it overseas Huh? I may have misunderstood the intent of your post... I'm happy for failed players to make it overseas... I object to your normal implications that their making it overseas is somehow proof that the A-league is superior to the league in which they're making it. I really want the A-league to do well, and I'm confident that it will, but rushing it isn't going to get us there... That's all.

Tanner not getting a contract with Burton at this stage with just no space in the squad for a central mid. Quote:"With Hyuga Tanner, we don't really run a dedicated under-21 squad and with him being a central midfielder, we've got a lot of options in there," added Clough. We saw on Saturday (against Stoke) that he's technically very good in there, but it's just whether that would have an effect in the Championship. We couldn't really take him.

and people get annoyed when you say the championship is a bad place for development and a bad place to send our players given the growing skills mismatch

Maccabi Haifa out on penalties in Europa League qualifiers to an Estonian team, but at least Rukavytsya played all 120 and scored from the penalty spot.
