+x+xBeen wanting to clear out my massive dvd collection for a while now but could not be bothered trying to sell it on ebay. I looked around a bit a found a place called Cex, they pretty much take anything etc Dvds, Phones, Games, Blu Ray players, hell even old Xbox games and Nintendo Game Cube as well, you name it. Now we are not talking big bucks for most of the dvds from the entire list I have (200+) the price ranged from 20 c up to 15 dollars depending on the dvd, which is not bad at all for lets face it old media that is very dated. They can give you cash or a voucher to use to buy from their store, obviously you get less for cash and more for credit, so I picked credit as I will just be updating my collection with blu rays and 4k movies anyway. The total came to around $560 which is damn good for media I will never likely watch again, but will just have to wait and see if I actually get the amount quoted. So just received a email to confirm they have tested all my dvds/games etc and they came to a total of, wait for it............................................ $1402.1 :w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t:
I don't know what has happened, but I was quoted $560 so yea, I'm not complaining. Far out, whenever I go I get like.. $1 each dvd

You can chose cash but you receive less, on their website when you want to sell something it will have what they buy for cash and what they will give you for in store credit(Voucher). I only chose in store credit because I was only going to replace the dvds etc with Blu Rays/4k TvSeries Movies anyway and their prices are very good, mind you these are all 2nd hand products but Blu Rays are very hard to scratch anyways. You are pretty much looking at half what you would get for in store credit.

WFMB: Our new house has a caveat on it stipulating that we must do our landscaping within 3 months. Pretty standard, we had read when we were looking at blocks 18 months before we bought that they required a $2k bond that we would get back (plus interest) when completed however we were never told during the purchasing process so i thought they may have gotten rid of the bond... but i then read it in the contract.
I thought that maybe the developer or broker had stuffed up or something.
Anyhow... long story short. Bond is including in the purchase price of the block, which also included our fences.
So BONUS $2K.
Pretty stoked, and funny cause people can't understand how we got our block for the price and then it includes all this stuff, and the block has no issues at all.
Wooooooo... money!

Perks of the new cushy Monday-Friday 9-5 job I started this week :) How good is it! I had worked 10 hours days Monday to Saturday and 5 hour Sunday mornings for 4 years. It was fucked. The money situation was great... not so much the pay but the fact i couldn't spend it. But i then moved to Monday to Friday and it was the best thing ever. However now i only work mon wed fri with 4 hour shifts due to illness. I miss the 65 hour weeks! Though online shopping would ruin me now.

WFMB: Almost hit 10 kg lost, all my clothes are getting baggy, my midsection looks visibly smaller compared to when I started and my sprained ankle is about 90% healed. Congrats mate, keep it up If I were you I'd start lifting as well - it will hasten your weight loss (although losing 10kg is already very substantial) and it will make you more defined. WFMB: Lifts keep going up and my sleeves are noticeably tighter, plus people I haven't seen in a while comment on my arms

+xI don't have the money to join a gym nor the space to set up a gym in my own home, but once I do I plan on getting toned. Google body weight exercises. And buy some rope. You will kick your own ass easily.
