Because apart from Sydney 2000 and the boost in the two Olympics proceeding it this is about the level we have always been at. We shouldn't be expecting to finish top 5 in medals like the AOC predicted. Should always be aiming for a solid top 10 finish and somewhere between at least 8-10 gold medals
