+x+x+x+x+xRogic looks good. This other team would get relegated from most NPL leagues though. St Johnstone are a small wee club despite Perth being quite big in Scottish terms. Every season I just hope them and Kilmarnock go down and we get someone with an actual fanbase like Falkirk or Greenock Morton to come up.. Could chuck a few other clubs in that bracket too, Accies, Ross County At least they have derbies against Motherwell and Inverness respectively that are worth watching. St Johnstone are just a nothing team that nobody ever cares about. Are they fully professional? Yes. They're just shit.

Aiden O'Neill on the bench for Burnley. Good stuff.
Pity that long range Rogic shot didn't go in. Quality.

Edwards gets a start against Aberdeen. Jeggo starts again too.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Sturm comfortably leading 2-0, Jeggo dropping very deep, dominating possession.

Far out - O'Neil makes his EPL debut against Liverpool at 18 years of age!
Played CAM for the last few minutes in Burnley's 2-0 win at home.

+xO'Neill coming on for Burnley! Debut! Had no idea of his nationality. All I heard was the commentator say that Gray say that was being subbed off for a young Aussie. I did a doubletake.

Congrats to O'Neill on his EPL debut, I had hoped he would see minutes after his time in preseason friendlies but this has come much sooner than expected!
18 years old, debuting in the EPL in a win against Liverpool, not bad!

Just got home from work at 06:30am and missed all the Aussie Abroad games I was aware of, but at least I can check out the Olympic final.
Clean sheet for Langerak in a 3-0 Cup win, full game also for Degenek in their 2-1 win over a fellow 2.Buli team.
Another goal for Irvine in his full game as discussed.
Full games for Luongo and Wright against each other in a 0-2 Championship win for Wright's PNE.
Full games and wins for Rogic, Burgess, Jeggo, and Meredith and a loss for Elder in their respective leagues.
Mooy off at 56 minutes in a win for Huddersfield, but they're looking good with 10 points from 4 games and are on top of the table. Do they have an option to buy? Early days, but he might be a key part of the Wagner revolution that takes them to the EPL.
Jedinak still waiting on paperwork to debut for Villa. Seems Lyden played in their U23 team last night.
In the Scottish league McDonald with a full game and a goal against Rangers, Ryan Edwards played the first hour in Partick Thistle's win and Lennox kept a clean sheet for Raith Rovers in the 2nd division, while Lyndon Dykes got an assist in his full match win for Queen of the South.
Full game for Spiranovic in a 0-0 shutout with Guangzhou Evergrande. Thwaite with a full match and goal while Vidosic came off at half time in Liaoning's 2-1 loss to Shanghai Shenhua. Full game for Jovanovic in a 1-4 loss to Shandong Luneng. Tando had a full match in a 1-0 J-League loss. Neither Burns nor Celeski in their squads. Full match for Mrcela in a 1-1 draw in Korea.
DDS coming on at 64 minutes in a 0-1 Eredivisie loss. Mauk not in the squad.
Wilkshire riding the pine during a 1-3 win over Ufa.
Full match for Yeboah for Gladbach II again, he's alive.
Adama Traore and Marc Janko enjoying a 4-1 win for FC Basel in the Swiss league.

Bring him on late at Thailand away in November if it's going well, for sure. Ange should probably keep his prepared squad results focussed for the first two pairs of tough matchdays (Iraq home and UAE away in September, Saudi away and Japan home in October), but hopefully we'll be looking good after those and we can lock in some of this season's emergents.

Aiden O'Neill might be in with a shot at a start in an early round cup match and maybe little bits off the bench. He played a lot and impressed during preseason.

Never thought we'd have so many quality young CMs coming through... Rogic, Mooy, Luongo, Amini, Mauk, Irvine, Lyden and now O'Neill.
Shame none of them are really a replacement for the defensive steel that Jedinak & Milligan currently offer as the lone DM. Maybe Irvine and Lyden but I'm yet to see too much evidence of that.

Butron highlights. Really nice diving header from Irvine http://www.okgoals.com/match-highlights-1471718534---40A result I haven't seen mentioned is Burgess played a full game in a 1-0 win for Oldham (League 1). That's three clean sheets in a row for him (the other two were both 0-0 draws)
