Stuttgart coach has quit. I don't think Langerak will have any issues.

Jones with a clean sheet in a solid 1:0 win. Stopped a Zlatan free kick at the end.

Already said by JohnSzasz but a huge win for Feyenoord and for Jones, was big in all the right areas and capped off the match by holding onto an absolute rocket of a Zlatan free kick with United strikers around him ready to pounce.
With six wins from all six games in all comps (bar the Dutch Super Cup) with only two goals against its difficult to argue why anyone else should be in goal for the next Socceroos qualifiers.

Let's just hope one of the feckers shows he can make ridiculous save after ridiculous save after ridiculous save. And then he can go in goals.
We've missed that for too long and it has cost us dearly.

If Feyenoord go all the way like this though it hardly does him harm. If he's just being called up as 3rd it's probably better to leave him where he is to keep up that form.

Jones and Langerak are playing which is fantastic for both of them. The issue is that neither of them are as comfortable with their feet as Ryan. Rightly or wrongly that is what Ange wants in his goalkeeper

Rightly or wrongly that is what Ange wants in his goalkeeper That will change very quickly. The issue has been them getting comfortable playing. Jones and langerak have spent years on the bench. You don't really know what they are capable of. They might be much better than ryan. I like Ryan but i don't see him being world class.

Rightly or wrongly that is what Ange wants in his goalkeeper Jones isn't comfortable with the ball period. Whether with his feet or hands. Always been the most overated keeper around. No where near at the level of Ryan, Galekovic, Birighitti, Langerak...even federici! Glad his side had a good win though.

He does indeed hit 8 long balls a game which isn't particularly suited to our needs Hope ryan gets his spot back

+x+xI literally dont think Jones had a save to make not even the free kicks from pogba and zlatan? Both free kicks were straight at him. First from Pogba was a simple catch, second from Ibra, while it was well hit and bounced awkwardly, was straight at him and was a shot that any pro keeper would be expected to deal with. Even then Jones nearly spilled it into the feet of the following up attackers.

Degenek with a weak back pass which the opposition striker slots home. Poor awareness there.

Compact day. Brentford vs PNE and Huddersfield vs QPR. Leckie away to Bayern. Halloran and Langerak in the earlier session.

Full match for Davidson, thrashed Utrecht 5-1 away from home. Halloran and Langerak starting soon.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.
