+xHandy 2:0 win for Burton. Irvine's been a stand out player for Burton this season, wouldn't be a surprise if he got picked up by a bigger club. Lucas Akins looks good, too.

Neymar Burns off the bench in what I suspect is one of his last games for Tokyo. Tokyo FC 2-1 Kashima Antlers.

66 minutes for Halloran against Dresden. Behich starts.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

I think he had some injury troubles last season, and has only just started to string some matches together, and now hopefully starting to get on the scoresheet consistently too. If he can get a run of games together and some goals this season he should move on in search of first team football.

Kruse not in squad. Leckie bench. He'll get a run from the bench as Dortmund should lead.

Ryan should just hand in his gloves. Alves is a beast.

Ingolstadt threw away a 2 goal lead twice at home to draw 3-3 with Borussia Dortmund. A good result out of context but they will be bitterly disappointed. Leckie came on in the 72nd minute with the score at 3-2, not sure if he did much. Kruse not in Leverkusen's squad as mentioned above, they lost at home 3-0 to Hoffenheim.
Mooy was on the bench for Huddersfield but was subbed on in the 61st minute in a 1-0 home win over Derby. QPR went down 1-0 at Sheff Wed, full game for Luongo. Wright put in a good shift for Preston in a 1-0 win at Norwich. Jedinak started and played 73 minutes in Aston Villa's game with Fulham, kept it at 0-0 while on so job done for him. Ryan Williams subbed on in the 84th minute for Barnsley, they won 2-0 at Brentford. Burton and Irvine not playing. Most of our Aussies in the Championship seem to be acclimatising well and are important parts of their respective teams.
O'Neill an unused sub for Burnley as they beat Everton 2-1. Birighitti not in Swansea's squad.
Meredith not in Bradford City's squad. Injured?
David Williams not in Haladas' squad either in Hungary.
Ryan not in Valencia squad, Alves in goal for their 3-2 loss to Barcelona. Jaume on the bench. Probably needs a loan or move in January
Full game for Behich as Bursaspor won 2-0 away at Alanyaspor. He should probably be involved with the Australia setup more than he is.
Another full game for Jeggo with Sturm Graz in a 2-2 draw with Mattersburg.
Big game for Sparta Rotterdam feat. King Kenny and Goodwin later, away to PSV. Roda and De Silva play ADO Den Haag at the same time.
Mebrahtu on the bench for Mlada Boleslav, 1-1 at HT.
Burns subbed on in the 90th minute for FC Tokyo, he's wasted there. Pls come to Adelaide :)
Sainsbury got 20 mins off the bench in Jiangsu's 2-2 away draw. Jovanovic unfortunately played a full game in a 5-0 hiding at the hands of Pellegrini's Hebei Fortune at home. Giannou played 71 minutes in Guangzhou R&F's 3-1 loss to Beijing Guoan.
Interestingly the chairman of Wilkshire's Dinamo Moscow said this week that the club is 188m euros in debt and may declare bankruptcy, can't imagine that would be good news for him or that their finances will improve following their relegation last season.
Probably forgot a fair few but that's what I can see so far!
Oh, and for the Kiwis, Winston Reid scored a 94th minute winner for West Ham as they beat Sunderland 1-0. Not even a header, either, it was a nice strike from outside the box. A defender of his quality would be invaluable for Australia, though I rate Sainsbury highly.

I checked the Huddersfield forums and there's lots of praise for Mooy, he really turned the game in their favour.

Kind of annoying Graz dropped points to Mattersburg, they're one of the weakest teams in the Austrian top flight.

Hi guys,
This is my first post on here :) I have been following these forums everyday for more than a year or so now though haha I decided it was finally time to make an account and contribute sometimes haha.
A bit more of a summary of how some Aussie guys went overnight: Goodwin got subbed off in the 71st min. It was still 0-0 when he was subbed off, but they went on to lose to a 77th minute goal. As far as I can see, King Kenny played a full game. De Silva was not in the squad for Roda. Perhaps an injury, considering he played really well last game. Cisak played a full game for Leyton Orient and won 3-1. Nizic was an unused sub for Morecambe in League Two, but it shouldn't be long before he gets given a go in goals, because they have been struggling recently.
Two big bits of news from this round! Firstly, James Georgaklis, a 17 year old central midfielder originally from Sydney, made it onto the bench for Swindon in League One! He didn't get a game, but things are looking positive moving forward. He reckons he plays like Luongo. I'm glad he finally made it into the first team, as I have been checking Swindon team sheets for almost a year now to see his name haha. Secondly, Gab Cleur (who someone a few weeks ago posted about) finally made it onto the bench for Virtus Entella in Calcio B (Serie B), Italy. Again, he didn't get a game, but it has shown that over the last 3 weeks he has gone from Primavera to first team squaddie to first team bench! Watch this space. He can play as a mid and a right back. Could be good to keep an eye on for a future spot in the Socceroos, because God knows we need right backs. As a side note, Virtus Entella played against Salernitana (Ikon's old loan team), which has two Aussies in their youth team; however, neither Jonathan Alcorace or Matthew Bolzonello have made the step up to senior football yet.
Anyway, I hope that's a helpful first post haha. I live for this kind of thing. If my life wasn't so incredibly hectic with 3 jobs, uni and a wife, I would take over from GermanRoo on OS Aussies haha :P

Trent Sainsbury hasn''t been starting for his CSL team for a few weeks. His Korean coach seems to prefer to start with his Korean national team Centre back. Better get out of CSL while you can Sains.
