I think its time that Victory are found out for their poor attendances. starting to really slide. Club hasnt grown their figures in years. All well and.good.to have heaps of members but if only half show up then thats rather telling.

I think people who were discounting the effect of the North Terrace will soon realise how bad it is without them. Victory are now just like all.other clubs.

You guys do realise that Victory gets a 16k at AAMI basically every year? It's not anything out of the ordinary. Just relax.

Big mistake having Victory & City play at home on the same weekend. I know many neutrals who like to attend both team's matches, but twice on the same weekend is too much. Just another excuse!! 

The same weekend wouldn't be such an issue if city had its own ground....

One of the benefits of having 2 teams in a city is the ability to have a game every weekend, generally. But it seems every weekend recently has had either both sides playing or neither.

I'm one of those neutrals who goes to watch both teams and it's pretty shit. FFA are getting this wrong. It's terrible scheduling for maximising crowds.

The idea of having 2 teams in the one city is to have a game every weekend. The a league fixture is so out of whack that we have had no games in Sydney and 2 games in Melbourne.  Next weekend there are no fixtures in Melbourne and 2 in Sydney.  Make sense of that! The sooner we go to a 16 team league with proper home and away fixtures,  playing each other twice,  the better it will be for fans.

Poor crowds round but we move on...next week promises to be a lot better.

Syd/City - 15,000 (Friday night, 1v2...this really should be 20k but Sydney's fans are shit so going low. Watch them somehow get less than 15k to this)
Welly/CCM - 7,000 (who knows, really)
WSW/MV - 16,000 (this is at ANZ so I've got no idea. Really should be 20k as well but losing faith rapidly with both Sydney clubs)
Glory/Newy - 11,000 (Sat night in Perth after a two week gap, expecting 11k min)
Roar/Reds - 15,000 (once again who knows, could be a bit higher but going on the lower side again)

Let's hope the two matches at ANZ draw a lot higher than I've predicted because 70k would be a cracking result and it's possible.

Roar on a Sunday afternoon is never popular (it's too hot, too sunny, too wet) so it's a game typical of 13k ish. The double-header normally puts a couple of thousand on the gate and apparently there is again a dedicated marketing plan for this game so let's see.

But summer 4PM kick offs are really Russian roulette in Brisbane, yesterday at 4PM we had a doozy of a storm that got the 4PM NYL kick off game abandoned half way through but by 6PM it had stopped raining.

The good news Waz it's a clear and partly cloudy top of 28 predicted. Perfect for drawing a big crowd.

Melbourne City having the lowest crowd of the weekend, when the Jets, Mariners and last-placed Adelaide all playing at home really is an awful result. They have received so little traction despite their success. The lack of identity is still incredibly strong.

And next week both Sydney clubs play at home to Melbourne clubs, both at ANZ stadium? What an awful piece of scheduling. 

Lol, Sydney FC pull 16k and it's probably lauded as a decent turnout. Reckon MVFC have more than enough points in the bank to suggest there isn't a great deal to be concerned about.
