+xhere is the following figures for the ticket allocations for Melbourne Victory's home semi final against either Melbourne City OR Brisbane Roar OR Perth Glory OR Western Sydney Wanderers as follows, Melbourne Victory v Melbourne City at Etihad Stadium – capacity 56,347: 26,239 tickets available to Melbourne Victory members 13,078 tickets available to Melbourne City members 17,030 tickets available to FFA Football Family, General Pubilc Melbourne Victory v Brisbane Roar at AAMI Park – capacity 30,050: 26,239 tickets available to Melbourne Victory members 3,811 tickets available to FFA Football Family, Brisbane Roar members, General Public Melbourne Victory v Perth Glory at AAMI Park – capacity 30,050: 26,239 tickets available to Melbourne Victory members 3,811 tickets available to FFA Football Family, Perth Glory members, General Public Melbourne Victory v Western Sydney Wanderers at AAMI Park – capacity 30,050: 26,239 tickets available to Melbourne Victory members 3,811 tickets available to FFA Football Family, Western Sydney Wanderers members, General Public where is this coming from? Didn't victory members get screwed in either the final against city or gf against Sydney where victory members could only but 1 ticket per membership but the opposition got to buy 2 tickets per membership. It better be the same for both this time especially if its at etihad.

as a southender, I hope we are not moved for our home semi final, but I a not holding my breath. can't see why the stadium can't have the same configuration as a regular home game considering we will be the home team. None of our potential opponents will fill any allocation anyway, so stick em in the regular corner.

So now that we are assured ACL next year, I would think that we'd go after an Asian import, possibly in Fahid's role on the wing. Who were our 5 foreign spots? Marco, Bes, FBK, Beister, Baro? Some decent room to move there with the Beister/FBK spots, I would keep Baro on for another season and look at getting a decent foreign DM. -PB

The 4+1 rule comes in the year after anyway. It looks like Rhys Williams is coming, which should give us plenty of defensive depth (especially if Baro stays). I would hope the club utilises the guest marquee rule for a box to box midfielder. We also need a LB. Scott Galloway is out of contract at CCM (not sure why he was let go).

In terms of contracted foreign players for next year:
Rojas
Berisha should get his citizenship in the coming months.
Would like to see us keep Baro as he's been outstanding, as well as Troisi.
Ansell I feel could be moved on if we do sign Williams, as Deng will also be coming back.
Keeping Baro/Troisi + Williams would leave us with
GK: Thomas/?/Spinella RB: Geria / Nigro CB: Baro (F) / Donachie /Deng LB ? /Broxham CM: Valeri / Williams RW: Rojas (F), Ingham LW: Austin ST: Berisha
3 foreign spots to play with. Ideally an Asian left sided player could come in LB/LW)
Would need some more depth in midfield as Valeri/Williams could be prone to missing games with only Brox as a back up. Fanboy in me would love to see Celeski replace Mahazi.
Berisha unfortunately won't count as a non foreign player for ACL though, so a +1 player I think is a must.
Some rumours of Galekovic coming back as a reserve, not too sure how legitimate or not they are. COuld just be random Twitter BS.

Throw in that with Ollie's marquee spot hopefully going to Troisi and an increase and the cap and those 3 free foreigner spots are massive. Surely Bes must be back under the cap come contract time ala Archie? Rojas to stay on and fill that Kruse like player? -PB

Pretty clear from that we need to sign a lot of players this off-season. Can't see Austin being there either. We'll need a few wingers, a centre mid and a left back at the minimum. The GK situation will be an interesting one too..

At some point we're going to have to play the likes of Howard/Nigro more too. It's absurd how little game time they get. -PB

I'd have no issue if he was given the starting LW role. but we'd obviously need a backup.

I looked into the stats after reading so-called Aus Football Fan's post about the English 2nd Division having better fans; turns out not only did Victory get a better average attendance this season than 17 Championship teams, but more than five EPL teams as well.

He's a squaddie. @PB - Nigro definitely needs to see more game time. Howard I just can't see it. I think we need to move him on.

Thank you Georgievski and FBK all the best in the future. Great effort Victory didn't deserve to lose, but that's the way it goes and this will make us stronger next season.

There is no way we should be making Troisi a marquee, it would be just a accounting marquee imo, he had a decent spell for a few months, but nothing near marquee status. I hope mvfc play hardball and go for an under the cap offer, as there are much better players in better league's who we could get.

Bit harsh on Troisi - almost won it for us a few times last night. A few inches left or right and he'd be a matchwinning hero. Might not be worth marquee status but definitely worth a hefty chunk in the cap imo.
