+x+x+xRuka on.....Ange should be sacked, i don't even care if he scores. Ruka being a part of the national setup shows its just a selection ruled by favouritism. The same with Kruse and all of the other substandard Roos who have little business being in a WCQ squad. Not Kruse? Lol. I can't remember the last time Kruse played well for the national set up. The guy has no composure, no touch, poor service, and when he scores they usually come off the wrong foot or his knee or some other part of the body he didn't intend to hit the ball with. Stop watching football, you have no clue.

Our work is cut out for us now: we just need to win. We have home advantage. We haven't loss a meaningful home world cup qualifying game in ages. The odds are in our favour. Let's not fuck this up. Bring it home boys.

Good effort, mostly kept their heads. Obviously needed an away goal but it wasn't to be. Sainsbury MOTM?
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Juric fucked it. Should have scored one of those. thank god Leckie and Kruse are back next game, that pass across front of goal from Luongo would have no doubt been tapped in by an actual fucking experienced forward

Would’ve taken 0-0 at the start of the game but it almost feels like a loss. We left goals out on the pitch.
Honduras were terrible but now we’re vulnerable to an unlucky away goal when we should have closed out the tie.

Happy with a draw we really should have scored. We were the better team but our finishing let us down again. Good on honduras, but if they hope to get a result in the next game theyll need to up their level. Aweful pitch and decent ref.

+xI'll take a 0-0 away any day Any win at home gets us to the WC, getting home fast and prepare well is all important now Here's hoping Cahill, Kruse and Leckie are all 100% fit for the home leg.

+xGood effort, mostly kept their heads. Obviously needed an away goal but it wasn't to be. Sainsbury MOTM? Jedinak or Luongo for me, a few less crazy passes. Worst arrangement of CB addition to build up I've seen from Sains. he's getting a bit overconfident. hell exposed a few times

We played pretty damn well. I still love watching this team under ange, fingers crossed we qualify and he stays.
Weirdly everything started to fall apart when rogic came on.
also sainsbury is pretty close to being our best defender ever, just needs a couple of seasons at a top club.

hows the grass, brakes on that ball, couldn't move... Luongo tried a shot from distance and it took about 50% the pace of it

I was completely wrong about Jedinak. I did not think he was fit enough but he proved me wrong.
If he plays in Sydney then Milligan can replace Wright at CB.

Sainsbury very tidy but somewhat cocky with the ball. Still, how is he not in Europe?

Honduras are bog average. It's disrespectful to our players to have to be on the same pitch. Predicting 8-0 on the return leg, which will probably require about 70 shots on goal.

+xDo they get any players back from suspension? Yes, Elis. He's a gun striker for Houston. This is actually a very bad thing.

I'm a little more wary than the pundits. I think part of why we dominated was because we had guys like Irvine and Luongo running all day. If you start Rogic you lose that and it might give Honduras a door back into the game.
