Flew up yesterday, told my boss I was going to be working in our sydney office today.  Well I'm in the office, but could hardly work, didn't even have the stomach to eat lunch.

Might try taking the ferry to the stadium if I could knock off before 4pm.   Anyone here ever tried taking the ferry?

Have spent most of today with that George Costanza "look annoyed and people think you are busy" face on ha ha

I didn't even know a ferry went near there.

A quick google maps look and it doesn't look close to the stadium at all..

It will be about a 25 min walk from the ferry to the ground, but it's a cracker of a day to catch one.

To the stadium or in general? The ferry trip out to Parra is quite a pleasant ride. Never got off near Olympic Park though.

It's up to you - it is a nice ferry trip. But the stadium website says "ANZ Stadium is approximately a 40 minute walk from Sydney Olympic Park Wharf." 

Depends how much time you have and how much you like walking :)

526 bus goes from ferry to Stadium every 20 or 30 min,  not a bad  option I never thought of 

They are selling CatA tickets in the members area now.

I am positive the past few hours has taken the equivalent of a week. This day is going so slow

I'm staying at the same hotel as the roos. Bad thing I've got do some work at a hospital that finishes 730. Probably going to miss the first half. Positive been around them all day with my meetings in the foyer. I guess I can argue I had breakfast with them.

I hate how they do that,  just let members get tickets first then when it goes to the public open up all the seats.   Every time I buy ANZ tickets they play around with multiple releases of tickets that leave you with less options when you buy. 

I would have happily payed for cat a if available when I was buying but only singles or restricted view were open 

The tickets they are selling are on half way in the 3rd row of the upper level.  :(

Don't forget the "deep in thought chewing your pen when you're really just going to the toilet/getting a coffee" walk.
