Other than potentially box midfield rather than diamond looks good. Cahill, Leckie, Rogic, Mooy...we have a lot of goals there. Cmon boys!

I imagine it would be Milligan actually on the right of Jedi not the left. Then Jedi will sit with Millsy and Mooy playing sort of as 8s, Mooy sitting a little higher and Millsy with more defensive duties like Luongo did in the first leg. When we have the ball, Rogic to be given license to fuck em up.

Looks about right, though for even more attacking I'd have had Milligan right side of Back 3 in-place of Bailey Wright, Mooy alongside Jedi, so little deeper but helping construct plays and pushing forward when he chooses and Luongo retaining his place, in the spot Mooy currently occupies alongside Rogic. But that would be having one's cake and eating it too and this a more stable, balanced, line-up and Milligan is reasonable with his distribution, with Mooy best utilised in that front third area.

Gods I'm nervous for this one....this is up there with 2005 for me. The tension and nervousness is amplified even more because I don't have a professional club to follow so all my eggs are in the national team basket when it comes to teams I follow. Please bring this home boys.

+xElis vs Jurman of Wright is scary. Fast player. Sainsbury's ability to cover behind both of them is going to be vital. He quite often gets to breaking players out wide before the CB who plays more on the side.

He quite often gets to breaking players out wide before the CB who plays more on the side. Even more important will be Leckie's ability to track back in support. A fully fit Leckie and we can be more confident, such is his athletic ability and proven capability in the position thus far. But with he not quite 100%, that's another challenge but if anyone can support and even has the pace to help close down a speedy winger, it's Leckie.

+x+xEasily the most nervous I’ve ever been for a game of football. Played or watched. I'm living in Germany at present and am thankful I have less than 2hrs to wait for the game since waking up.That feels long enough. Just hoping we don't give a goal away in those first nervous 20min of the game. My biggest concern as well.

Don't mind that line up ... Milligan and Jedinak should provide some cover for Behich and Leckie too

Good lineup. Could only argue about Luongo missing out.
Here we go boys.

Let's not forget that this game is only happening because Ange has fucked up the team and it means we have not already qualified.
If we don't qualify tonight it is one persons fault, Ange Postecoglou.

+x+xGood lineup. Could only argue about Luongo missing out. Here we go boys. Can bet everything you own he will be the subby to change things up Yeah, actually glad to have he infront of Troisi as the first attacking midfielder option. Luongo actually has the capacity to change the game, contribute to significant moments for us such is his recent form. Irvine had to miss out too, due to the tactical change up, but he too could impact well late, depending on the game's scenario and asserting his height and physicality in the middle to help close things out or help in our efforts pushing numbers forward - especially in an extra time scenario where Jedi's less than match fit body may not hold up. He's a capable goal-scorer with late entries into the box as he's shown at club level. He got himself into that good position to potentially snatch that valuable goal for us in the Away leg too - if he finds a similar position this game on a better pitch, he should find the back of the net. Irvine was there in the same stadium to (not) see Aloisi's Penalty in 2005 as a kid and he wants to be there to impact the game similarly, to match the 2005 generation's feat: https://www.fourfourtwo.com.au/news/from-fan-to-player-irvine-dreams-of-his-2005-moment-477645/page0

At the Stadium with thousands of seats empty. Sydney trains have had a major meltdown. People stuck on platforms only 2 stops away. Chaos.

Tom Rogic does not have a great long shot, he can hit the occasional great long shot, a big difference. He hits lots of shockers in between the excellent strikes.

Tara and Garbie tipping 2-0 and 3-0 respectively...that's way too optimistic. We'll make this difficult for ourselves, it won't be easy.
