Is theo still away? If he was back could play on the left and George could go central. Muscat did mention in the presser that he thought he did well centrally in rd 1 v SFC. Otherwise yeah, keep Nigro at LB, maybe Brox DM Sanchez further forward?

Obviously won't happen but Nigro in place of Valeri not such a bad thing to try

we need an extra man in midfield with Milligan out. you would expect wither Broxy or Nigro to partner Valeri and Sanchez (probably Broxy).

So WCQ has some good knock on effects for us, Millsy, Troisi, Williams and Geria will all need to be at their best to have a shot at making the squad. 

Troisi especially can't afford any half assed performances. 

On twitter - Mitch Austin collided with a goalkeeper at training, had to get stretchered off.

Would this be the first time we've been bottom of the ladder, past the first few rounds? Only started following from back end of season 2, but I know we were shit in season 1 though Knights 1 win, 3 draws and 17 losses in pretty hard to beat!

Weve finished lowly before but i still think the durakovic/magilton year was the worst. However a at least we looked like scoring then. This year apart from George and williams its been uninspiring.

Its not a coincidence the years we brought kids through like murnane, galloway, pain, geria were the years we dominated. We need hope/ theo/nigro playng more. Not Just when someone is injured. All positions need to be under pressure. 

Yup, can either have first reamers not performing and we lose, or young guns getting a chance and we lose.

I know which is rather prefer.

What you guys reckon about going after an injury replacement for Austin, or do you just play Theoharus? 

Injury replacement could range to someone like Mitch Duke, Ibini or even Nathan Burns (couple of names off the top of my head)

Is the rule still that you have to pay the replacement with the same salary as the injured player?
Ie. we could only use a max of austins wage on the replacement.

If so, I doubt he'd be on much and wouldn't mind us trying for someone like Epifano

Other teams have gotten away with an injury replacement player in a different position before, and we definitely need more defensive depth. I'd like to loan Harrison Delbridge in their offseason (the USL playoff final was this week) would be educational to see how his level compares.

He'll be in for a shock if he does go there; Cincinnati, despite being a USL team, averaged an impressive 21k crowd in the season just gone.

Maybe we can try tempt Chris Ikonomidis home for a few months. I’m sure our medical staff would be able to remove the splinters from his rear and get him firing.

When Victory were playing GV Suns in Shepp, Theo was head and shoulders above anyone else on the pitch. Absolutely dominated and brought Victory back into the game that day by himself. If Muscy can slowly integrate him without pushing him, I reckon Victory are on to a winner. but I'd prefer Ingham starting and Theo given 10 15 mins off the bench.

Lets just hope he doesnt become another  seb pasquale . 

Pasquali rolls a Juventus player and gets poached by Ajax, Theo does the same to a Atleti player a few days later, but nobody noticed because it was in Geelong lol

Poor Seb at the best youth development club in the world. I feel sorry for him.
