What a terrible sequence of events for Brighton. 1. What should have been a goal kick gets incorrectly ruled as a corner 2. Man United take the corner and Lukaku fouls a Brighton defender in the scramble, which the ref does not pick up 3. The ball rebounds to a Man United player whose shot that was released off target is deflected into Brightons goal
Terrible luck.

Skunthorpe are killing it, on track for 5 wins in a row, only conceded once. Burgess a regular. Wigan as well, but Elder needs to get his spot back. Oar's alive and starting for APOEL. Ansell started Anyone have info on Reagan Ogle? He was on the bench for Accrington. Early days... Ryan Yates seems to be doing well for Notts.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Who cares about Brighton. They've given a decent account of themselves and Ryan has been as terrific as you'd want him to be. Jedinak is the worry. You're not much of a championship hardman if you keep getting injured. We need him at the world cup, but it's gonna be hard to get back in the Aston Villa team after this.

Jedinak is a proven and respected performer at that level, its really just a matter of staying fit

Aston Villa injury jinx claims another victim as Mile Jedinak limps off against Ipswich Town
Jedinak came into the starting line-up in place of Chris Samba and was then replaced by the defender
Mile Jedinak’s Aston Villa return ended in the worst possible fashion with the Australian withdrawn through injury after just 26 minutes.
The Australian has had to wait patiently for his chance since returning from a troublesome groin problem before the international break and was starting just his second match of the season against Ipswich Town today.
But Jedinak went down off the ball after just 20 minutes before returning to the field of play and trying to run the injury off.
However, the 33-year-old was swiftly removed from the action by manager Steve Bruce and replaced by Chris Samba, who had been dropped to the bench despite starting Villa’s previous two wins against QPR and Sunderland.
Jedinak remained straight-faced as he trudged down the touchline alongside Villa’s physio and headed to the treatment room.
He underwent groin surgery over the summer to cure the longstanding problem before suffering a relapse in September against Middlesbrough.
Bruce will be hoping today's injury is unrelated with an already lengthy injury list including captain John Terry, Jonathan Kodjia and Scott Hogan. http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/aston-villa-injury-jinx-claims-13953448

Twitter speculating that it's a shoulder/collarbone injury for Jedinak, which would be a new one, and hopefully one that'll heal soon rather than a recurrence of his groin issue. Apparently the collision that forced him down in the 20th minute was to his shoulder.

They lost 2:1. Bitter. I didn't see the goals but I want Birighitti to have success

+xYoung goalkeeper Julian Schwarzer is getting game time with Fulham at youth level. Played with the U18s this week and was on the bench with the U23s as they beat Newcastle U23 3-0. Another Aussie, Tyrese Francois, played for Fulham in the match. Lets hope Julian turns out as good as his dad! Julian would consider himself English though wouldn't he? Has probably never lived in Australia.

Mabil is (hopefully) playing Sporting in the morning. how much luck have people had with running dodgy streams off their phone because I won't be at home. Wish the game was a Sporting home game, the highlights from Pacos home games are always mediocre but thats what you get with a 5,000 seater stadium.

Julian Schwarzer is eligible for Australia, England, Spain, and I am guessing potentially Germany too (based on his grandparents). That's quite a selection of countries, if he's good enough to cut it as an international player. Interestingly, he was an outfield player up until a few years ago, before becoming a keeper like his dad. It would be great to see what he can do :)

Oier started for Levante while Fernandez was benched in a 5:0 loss to Atletico Madrid. Langerak not even in the frame.
