+x+x5 minute video interview with Maclaren on the Hibs website. He also got on in the second half in what their twitter called a bounce match in Portugal with Excelsior from the Eredivise in monsoonal conditions. Just looked up Hibs first game of the new year is on the 25th at 6:45am against Dundee. Actually their next competitive match is an Edinburgh Derby against Hearts in the Cup at 1am AEDT on the night of Sunday 21st/morning of Monday 22nd, so if he can get of to a good start in that he'll be a favourite very quickly. They've also got a friendly match against Willem II tomorrow night at midnight.

+x+xInterest in behich has cooled a little after his price has been put out. Three clubs in Turkey have reportedly shown interest but not prepared to pay. Also I can't find the article but one seemed to mention he got Turkish citizenship (his dad is a Turkish Cypriot) and took a different name, Eraltay. If you look up Aziz Eraltay he seems to be referred to that quite often. Is this common/required when taking Turkish citizenship, his name already seemed to be Turkish. EDIT: found an article which mentioned it: "the names Aziz Behic and Sakib Aytaç. St. Behich was born in 1990 in Melbourne. In 2013, he received the surname of Eraltay and became a Turkish citizen." https://www.google.com.au/amp/www.milligazete.com.tr/amp/haber/1477544/super-ligin-buyukleri-sol-bek-ve-forvet-arayisinda wow, have they taken a liking to him. Harry layed out a bit of ground work there. Still, you gotta be good. Kinda reverse of the Berisha effect here Yeah nah. Ufuk Talay sends his regards.

Anyone who has been to Bursa's ground and the city will know how good it is. I really enjoyed that place, it would be good to play football there. He has been a real success stpry and one of the least likley exports you think would do well.

M8, the ANZACs played the Poms there at Gallipoli a few years before that. In many ways Australian football was a casualty of WWI. Don't the let AFL make you believe they charged ANZAC Cove Sherrin in hand.

+xMaclaren not in the squad for Hibs' friendly today. I'm actually a bit worried about this move. Lennon didn't exactly lay out the red carpet for Rogic.

:exclamation: Pasquali starts for the reserves. They're playing away to league leaders Fortuna Sittard. Trailing 2-0 after 20 minutes... Meanwhile, Diego Forlan will join up with Jared Lum at Kitchee. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jared-lum/profil/spieler/179468
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

It's his first Jong Ajax appearance, after three bench appearances. Hopefully he gets plenty more time at that level, playing against adults.

Hate to admit it, but based on those highlights it looks like Pasquali has a dreadful game at key moments.
Lost his man for the first goal. Could’ve pressured more for the assist on the second goal. Then had a colossal screw up by inexplicably failing to receive a pass in the defensive half that should’ve been a third goal.

He was 2 on 1 for the second goal in fairness, but yeah not receiving that pass wasn't a good look, and it was six minutes before he was subbed off, if you want to read into that. I'm sure they can look past one bad game with his consistent performances in the U19 Eredivise and UEFA Youth League, though.

Yeah ofcourse. An 18 year old on their senior debut is entitled to a shakey start.

What a crack up SBS is. Had Pardew starting with a 3-5-2 hahaha Then go to the real match and West Brom are actually starting with a 4-4-2 Wow is Foz getting snubbed at SBS, not one question from Lucy until the end lol Think he'll get a clue and leave eventually? Not sure that'll improve the delivery,, with Rudan at the helm

Goal for Ryan Williams in League One.
Said g'day briefly to his brother Rhys at the Victory game last night, on a tenuously related tangent.

Someone also needs to mark a free player in the box too. Sounds right. Been happening a lot recently, balls flying unmarked directly in front of the keeper. Thought he should have been less close to the far post defender and more jumping up to stop that. Hard to beat nonetheless
