Foderingham gets a touch on it, but can't keep it out, 2-1 Hibs as MacLaren gets his first goal for the club!

Maclaren subbed off in added time a defender to consolidate the lead. Whistle blows. Maclaren with the winner.

Crawley win at the death at lowly Chesterfield and sit 6 points from the playoff places. Although Burgess didn't play his side won are comfortably 4th. Huddersfield second bottom now. Brighton with a little breathing room.

Nizic got a start and clean sheet for Morcambe. Makrillos on the bench but unused for Panionios. Full match for McGowan
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

https://youtu.be/qF3OuPYrBgYMaclaren penalty at the end. Bloody lucky it wasn't saved. Nearly liken his point blank chance in Kaiserslautern. Had that not been saved he might have been in favour. All round a good game from him.

maclaren started each season slowly and gets better each game
he's the type that would really benefit from short off seasons so he can really get a roll on

Brighton with a little breathing room. i cant see hudders surviving. not the way they have been playing. their january signings seem a touch underwhelming. i would be surprised if wagner survives. if he doesnt pull out a couple wins immediately they are done.

Billing simply doesn't play enough games for being the teams primary central midfielders. He needs one of these and a Winger imo Good ones not rubbish. Mooy in my opinion needs to lift also. But hard with the limited attacking weapons they have. He can't be expected to feed Deportre directly all by himself.

No way should he get sacked, he has done an incredible job with the weakest team in the prem by a long distance.

All round a good game from him. My Man! Great stuff, I always felt he needed to score early where ever he ended up to boost his confidence and against Rangers away from home, a penalty to win the game will absolutely do that. Fans will love him now and will be hoping he gets more and more game time, hopefully the coach agrees as well. If he had scored that easy one for Darmstadt, who knows it could have been different for him but I guess he wouldn't be where he is now, some things happen for a reason.

Did anyone watch the full game of Rangers vs Hibernian by any chance? Interested in watching it just to see how Jmac went the full game, it says he came on in the 7th minute. "Maclaren, on loan from German outfit Darmstadt, came on in the seventh minute and could have had a double before the break if not for some impressive goalkeeping and a disallowed goal." Sounds like he had a good game.

He played well. He could've had a hat trick to be honest though. Had a great chance as soon as he came on.

Sounds like he had a good game. He looked threatening, rusty as can be expected playing like once in 6 months but this game definitely helped his chances. Also linked up well with the new striker keeping him out of the team, so maybe they'll actually play together more.

lets get behind our strikers we desperately need one of them to get into form and take off in europe
maclarens forum comments
1.I thought he looked good quick and good movement and obviously brave as well to take the pen.
2. No bad debut
3. Glad he's off the mark. Have high hopes for him.
4. Thought he looked very sharp today and some of his first half link up with cranberry was a joy. Clever player, intelligent movement.
so reasonably positive. One guy said that they were worried if he would do well because o'donavan scored a lot of goals in the a league

Gotta give Kewell some credit for how he is doing with Crawley. They have one of the smallest budgets in the league and were favourites for relegation, yet they are currently sitting comfortably in 12th place, 18 points clear of the drop. They are only 6 points away from the playoffs and 9 points away from automatic promotion. Considering many here (myself included) thought he would be gone by Christmas, Kewell deserves praise for this.
I would love to see Kewell manage in the A-League in the future when there is a chance for it.

+xI would love to see Kewell manage in the A-League in the future when there is a chance for it. If Arnold gets the Socceroos job... and South Gosford FC follow their pattern of raiding the Mariners ... expect Okon to be offered South Gosford FC... then Harry at the Mariners is IMO very possible...

The A-League would be a step up from League 2. No reason to leave if he's doing well though.
