I imagine Foxsports must be shocked at the drop off.Which would be good news.
Having a six year deal ,they will want to turn things around in the off season.Maybe they will use their clout to pull some puppet string at FFA.Furthermore metrics have proved to be a massive fail.Instead of saving the game they are killing it.
Hopefully that means expansion becomes a priority.
A-League ratings are now trending less than FFA Cup ratings with amateur teams playing at suburban grounds.
Next weekend is a split round with ratings pleasers like CCM,PG,AU and WP.
It will be interesting to see ACL ratings.

Boredom is clearly an issue,if the same game shown earlier in the season rates more than a game with relevance now as well.
Expansion and relegation /promotion are clear solutions.
We need a plan for both.

See how P&R goes, then use P&R to fairly facilitate Expansion or Contraction, if and when Expansion or Contraction actually makes sense.

Any mention of calling sport an entertainment destroys any creditability and becomes a god damned circus . What would you call it? Of course it's entertainment. Bread and circuses and all that.
