Maclaren takes a shot, parried by the keeper then headed in by another Hibs player. 1-0.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Brighton switched keepers at half-time, I should say switched reserve keepers. Not exactly a strong signal that Maty will be replaced any time soon.

No Sainsbury today. Definitely training and integrating. He's still healing isn't he?

Hibs forum a little negative on mclaren
"McLarens finishing today has been very poor. When you have that many chances you have to score"
"How McLaren hasn't had at least 3 today is baffling"
My impression was he was excellent off the ball in creating chances but yes his finishing wasnt at his best

Maclaren's positioning was generally great but never seem likely to score. Probably something to do with his body shape. Williams was a 63rd minute sub, huge 3 points away to the league leaders. Nizic started again for Morecambe.

Nizic started again for Morecambe. There second goal came off a deflection also, off another player. I think in general Hibs will be happy to win 2-0. I'm not too sure of their recent form but it does seem every team bar Celtic in SPFL have major problems putting the ball in the net.

Crap looks like Lukaku scored. Horrible 1-0 after about 5 mins. Don't know why that ball came back like that

Holland starting, Jeggo wasn't in the squad.. probably injured. Sainsbury not ready yet. Birighitti on the bench. Don't think he'll get another chance.

https://youtu.be/Shf6tuV2NAIHibernian highlights. Maclaren had that big chance. Shot a bit too close to the stretching keeper.

Looks like Holland is back as a starter and getting good results. He as only started 8 games in total this season but has started the last 5 getting 4 wins and a draw. He seems to have come in partially because of an injury to their Turkish midfielder who has been out for a while but recently ruled out for the rest of the season.

Luongo played well in a 2-0 victory over Bolton. The match was very close to a 6 pointer in terms of the relegation race with QPR getting very close to safety.

Dougall starting. Goodwin not in squad. Goodwin is a decent player. These large benches in Holland are a bit of an issue. Important for him is just to play wherever in the world. I see him as a valuable extended squad member for Australia if required.
Behich with another full 90.

Probably means he won't be going to the big game away to Zenit, then.
