My impression was he was excellent off the ball in creating chances but yes his finishing wasnt at his best

yeah hopefully he gets a run of games though because in his two seasons for brisbane his finishing improved dramatically after a dozen games into the season

It makes me wonder if our short season cripples strikers because their finishing gets rusty during the long off season

Maclaren's positioning was generally great but never seem likely to score. Probably something to do with his body shape.

Looks like Holland is back as a starter and getting good results. He as only started 8 games in total this season but has started the last 5 getting 4 wins and a draw. He seems to have come in partially because of an injury to their Turkish midfielder who has been out for a while but recently ruled out for the rest of the season.

Meredith played a full 90 while Timmy came on in the 85th minute. 

Luongo played well in a 2-0 victory over Bolton.  The match was very close to a 6 pointer in terms of the relegation race with QPR getting very close to safety.
